Working on some more 1.8 stuff. Just finished stone brick and all its varieties-- I'm not completely happy with it at the moment, so I'll post screenshots in a bit to get you guy's take on it.

I'm not entirely happy with the stone brick (and its variants) at the moment. Any thoughts?


I'm assuming it's some sort of gate, but we'll have to see.

Broken brick = mason breaks the brick so that the broken face is exposed to the world.

Well you, rice, diamond, and # 4 say you like them, kabonos says he hates them...any other opinions? I think I might be getting a skewed sampling here.

Hm. I'm thought about doing a herringbone design before, but to me it just feels like something you'd find in floors, not in walls. And I'd also be afraid of it looking too much like the default cobble I already have. :laugh.gif:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I got my work cut out for me trying to emulate the effect in that picture. But oh well! It's all about the challenges.

I personally like my moss on the bluish green side, but I can certainly make an alt with jolicraft-colored moss. :biggrin.gif:
