There is no way in hell you guys built those in a week.
My house is fairly empty, so it didn't take that long. Also, consider the nature of the design; it's sortof a 'T' shape, not really any curves except for the roof (which took forever to figure out). I mean in a week...It's not so unfeasible, actually.
In my opinion, you should make the glow stone blocks a bit more white in color. If you are basing it off of Rivendell from The Lord of the Rings, then everything there seems to have a pale, kind of ethereal appearance. The glow stone is too warm colored, maybe that's why it feels more like something from the Victorian era.
The theme, as it stands at the moment, is most definitely Victorian. So the glowstone color applies. :biggrin.gif:

I'm sorry, but I didn't mean to offend you, I have numerous texture packs; including yours, on a cycle, and today I just happened to be playing Jolicraft, I did not state that Jolicraft was in anyway better/worse than yours, you two have very different styles.
About it not been entered, I'm absouletely fine with that, I was just wanting to build something while watching videos on YouTube, I thought it might not be eligible to enter.
I envy your computer's processing power if you can play minecraft while streaming video. XP

Oops, haha, sorry. When I was going back through my notes I realized I somehow completely forgot to write yours down. It's fixed now. :smile.gif:
(And I really do like it, it's just hard to keep up with all the entries for this contest as well as the adventure pack contest)

It was built using this, Dorian's, and my pack(s), so I could compare and see if they can all look cool on stuff I build. They all totally show off our differing styles and their similarities.

All done legit...and all "carved out". Most of the structure of the place is stuff that was there. I just whittled it all out mostly.

Okay... Now I want to build a castle floating in the sky with an enormous chandelier in the entryway. All of you are wonderful inspiration - amazing builds!
Ooh, and I really love how Gestankfaust used the fence around the inner balconies. Super neat touch.

I'm more of a leprechaun man myself though. See I have a very Irish name, so I tell everyone I'm Irish, but I'm actually Scotch-Irish. In other words, Scottish. So, in my quest to become Irish, I eat leprechauns, in hope that I can absorb their magical, Irish-ness.
(Only half of that is false. Guess which one! :biggrin.gif: )
