I hate to be a nuisance, but the netherack is far too dark. I play on a multiplayer server, and we built a nether portal, and that nether portal cant support any lighting or be altered (like a spawn point) and since the netherack is too dark I can't see anything. D: To make it worse there are holes and it becomes a pain to find your way out.

I could lighten the texture for you in the mean time if you like. (steel feathers is on holiday) that way you can play with this fantastic pack AND play on your server. Flick me a pm with what it is you need exactly, and I will look into it.

Its' ok. The owl in my brain (who doesn't wear a night cap) said he is on the look out. I am more worried about the forums, planetminecraft and youtube. I will be on the lookout though.

Steelfeathers (when she comes back), dorian lightened the Netherack for me. You should totally add it to the pack, either replace it or make it an alternate. :smile.gif:

it was only a 30 second edit :tongue.gif: a few contrast, colour and brightness changes and then an overlay of colour over that so it was brighter.
I also had never even looked at that texture for some reason, and by god I love it.
hey i am making a basic texture pack, i think a good thing i need to add in it is changes in water and lava. could u give a tip how to make the water differewnt but still good like ur texture pack

The condo I'm staying in is supposed to have wireless internet access, but it hasn't been working for a long time-- I'm at an internet cafe right now checking my messages. I'll pop in when I can to answer messages/deal with issues/post new material and such.
@Tuiat: Yes, the armor is still default. I haven't gotten around to editing it yet.
@Raawx: I'll have to look and see what dorian did, but odds are I'll put the edited netherrack in as an alt. :smile.gif:

I noticed that the Armor is default, along with the tools. Is that intentional? =o
If you read the title it says WIP which stands for Work in Progress. feathers has not completed the pack yet, so they are just place-holders.
