Gold block.
I was going to have a tiny figurine inside the gold 'case', but I figured you guys would ***** about it, so I'll just make it an alternate instead.

Holy Crap! I could actually see that pic! The blocks look decent. I will have to see how the look on a large scale before I make a final statement. I like how you managed to capture the specific specular quality of gold. That is difficult to do.

I understand why you want to see the ore blocks on a large scale, given the proliferation of diamond skyscrapers on servers, but I personally only ever use one or two (or three at the most) in a group, since I tend to play legit and would never have enough for a truly 'large' scale. That said, I tend to make the ore blocks into decorative pieces that wouldn't necessarily look good repeated a hundred zillion times...such as that figurine. ^^
Updated to v0.2. Added ore blocks (plus alternate gold block without the figurine), signs, and alternate cobble (see below). Also tweaked some blocks and fooled around with the brightness and contrast of some of the textures-- see if you can find what's different. :smile.gif:

Nope, no bed editing. Good guess though. :wink.gif: You'll just have to keep looking. Some of them you might not spot-- they're supposed to be subtle changes, lol. So if they don't jump out at you, all the better.
