Just looked to see and you're not on the Texture Pack list thingy at the top of this forum with this texture pack, maybe get this on there? That might increase your downloads... :smile.gif:

Lilyo doesn't take packs that don't have the terrain png finished. Otherwise it would be up there already. :wink.gif:

I think it is more to do with the fact that he doesn't ever really comment...at all...even on the "solutions to remix packs" thread he started. After page 6 he seems to stop posting. Dunno, he is a talented artist but he also seems kinda unmotivated.

Unmotivated isn't the word I'd use. He works as a professional game artist. It's hard to do it all day as a job then come home and do more to appease hungry Minecraft fans (unless you have an addiction to doing art of course).

This is true, but a lot of other people on these forums work too. He just comes across arrogant and disinterested from what I have seen, but then so do I sometimes. Johnsmith posts less than doku hahah.

This is one of the reasons I don't care for his pack(s) anymore. If you talk to any of the other texture pack creators, you're bound to get a friendly response or nudge, or even a cup of tea (If you go to Glimmar's thread, probably)
Regardless, I'm glad this thread is slowly "Converting" the doku population or something. Now we just watch as Steelfeathers becomes as famous, and because of the great demand for his pack he leaves as well!

BWAHAHAHAHA he already has more packs than doku, and he didnt have to leave for the 'celebrity' death effect.
Now don't get me wrong. I do think that doku is a talented artist. I just think it is a bit...odd...that he has never finished a pack. Personally, leaving unfinished work, even for a game that I am not really being compensated for, would drive me crazy.

Phonograph for the jukebox does fit the Victorian theme, though. :smile.gif: But yeah, I "converted" from Dokucraft to this pack mainly because it has that sort of "pixel-art" feel you'd see in games from the 1990's. So most of the textures to me stand out without looking too pixelized like the original minecraft does (i do like the default textures very much, though). Oh, and just the general combining themes the pack has looks incredible.

If I may jump in on this discussion, I'd have to agree with dorian. I work AND go to school to get my degree, but I still find the time to post here. :biggrin.gif: But then again, not everyone can be as awesome as me (trollface) so I understand being too busy to respond or post. But the few posts from doku I HAVE seen (on other people's threads) all tend to be....very arrogant. Bordering on downright rude. He actually looked at someone's concept pack and said it was ugly. Just straight up 'that's so ugly'. XP
