I would not mind taking over the maintenance of this texture pack, but truth be told I don't have much time these days. But would anyone be interested in some mod support for Harvestcraft?

Well, actually I was originally in charge of maintaining mod support for the Enchanted pack but I got too busy after 1.4 (currently working with several RTS modding projects) however if there is very strong support for my taking over the Enchanted skinpack, I would not mind doing it. The first thing that will be done will be to redo all food items and to add new armour. I am currently doing reskinning for my own version of Minecraft (which is vintage replete with Thaumcraft 1.6c, by the way) but if Steelfeathers can be convinced to turn the texture pack rights over to me, I might be able to do more for you guys.
You'd have my support as well! I've tried numerous texture packs in the last few months but none of them have appealed to me like Steelfeathers' Enchanted has. I adore this texture pack and I'd love to see it kept up to date with Steelfeathers permission <3
Actually, I might not be able to work, because I am planning to apply for a new job - I have till this Friday to send in my CV. But I will try my best!
However, I have kept and maintained a section for the Enchanted texture pack at the Mod Database at http://www.moddb.com...pansion-project - it hasn't been receiving its fair share of updates (not letting go of Thaumcraft 2 yet) but in theory I can work on mod support. Bear in mind I produce only textures for my own use - I tend to combine the Enchanted Pack with Glimmar's Steampunk - so if you need some block support for mods like Thaumcraft or Redpower, better go see Glimmar.
Meanwhile, on to the main course of the day: AtmosMobs' crabs:
Perhaps unbeknowst to you, I am a fan of marine life, and given that 70% of the world's surface is water it is understandable. I am also a fan of steampunk/alchemy mods although anything which produces extra mobs is welcome to me.
Because I work with other modding projects however (especially for Rise of Nations) do not expect frequent updates. However, if you like what I produce, and there is strong demand for it, I may consider putting it up for downloading from Moddb.
Closeups of the crabs:
A red crab, and three flower crabs. The red crabs are especially tough to spot if they are walking on the sea bed and there is a lot of dirt....probably explains a few things.
Oh my, I don't think he's too pleased to see me!
In the meantime, we have also started producing textures for human mobs. This is me (in real life, I guess)
Comments? I know that this man's flashy suit clashes with the overally look of the Enchanted skinpack, but I believe we are getting somewhere. If his suit seems too flashy, however, I got an alternative:
Crude leather armour.
I know that my leather armour goes against the grain of the Victorian-styled Enchanted skin pack (this was actually a rehash of my own work for Rise of Kings), but this is only a concept - as you know I have Pam's mods installed, so I am also working on a 2nd set of leather gear (which is closer to the mark with flat caps and leather jackets).
Boots and bottom are not part of the set, they are for SimpleOres. I decided to drop his overly ornate helm in favour of something more elegant and simple - a kettle hat.
Also, some apologies - didn't know that leather was already done. I will be looking into how to enhance it, though.
I have been working on Asian mods and Asian-themed mob skins for Millenaire. I have also redone my concept for armour icons, so expect an update by the end of next month. It won't be part of Steelfeathers' original textures, but is meant to form a "supplement".
Here's some of the Japanese skins I have managed to create thus far:
Japanese kikkori (lumberman)
Souryo (monk)
Hyakushou (fisherman) with family. I have not finished children and many others, but after someone in the forums complained that the eyes were too small, I will try to experiment with 3-pixel eyes as opposed to 2-pixel eyes.
I now have completed a group of textures for Millenaire for the Japanese villagers. In the next couple of weeks, they should be ready for downloading. We will use those skins to complete what mobs have not been covered by the Enchanted resource pack thus far.
You have my support for sure!
I must say, I have tried atleast 25 various resource packs at this state and I just cannot lose grip from this one. Steelfeathers' Enchanted has always had a special place in my heart and I would not mind seeing it being continued one way or another at all.
Does anyone have suggestions on what resource pack to pair this with in order to fill in the missing textures? I love this pack soooo much, but I'm having problems finding something similar to help fill in the blanks.

It won't show up in my Available Resource Packs section. I've tried both download links. I know I'm doing it right because I did the same thing to two different packs and they showed up. Help? Why isn't it showing up?
I'd like that too! I wish I was good enough at this whole pixel-art deal to complete this pack, if only for myself >< Nothing, and I mean *nothing* compares to this pack.
I use Sorrtex_Fanver as my second pack to fill in the gaps. Also you may need to delete the clock and compass from Steel to get them to show up right.
That looks quite nice, Mr. Wukong. I like it.

Here's a series of fish for my own private use. If someone wants to see one of these make its way into enhancements for the texture pack let me know.

Thanks. Once armour and weapons are done, I will begin uploading them as supplements to the Steelfeathers pack.
Comments?
