help me grow and give a click please (I'm just a tiny little thing)
You know you f**ked something up in the code when...
Back story: I'm trying to add a new furnace type block for a mod I'm working on and having difficulty getting the textures to register properly due to a bit of confusion in the tutorials...A few minutes ago the block I created had biomeless-grass and stone textures on it rather than what I wanted, and now I've managed to perform nearly the complete opposite.

The best part is that I got it working properly...and...all I did...
I literally just made a separate classfile for the block specific code, copied the EXACT same stuff into the EXACT same places in the new file...fixed stuff pointing to it in the other files...and *poof*...
Funny how stuff like that seems to work out
Oh by the way I'm making all of the textures native in 32x to be compatible with this pack since I use it.
I won't be blatantly plagiarizing textures or any of that nonsense, only modifying what I need to (like the furnace because I suck at creating a base to work from for highly detailed things.)
You'll be getting free advertising, free compatibility with a mod (or at least mostly free, I MAY have to ask you to downscale some things to 16x for me because Photoshop is just better at nondestructive scaling than the GIMP), and full credit will be given where it's due.
I imagine that's enough to avoid potential objections, but object you may if you choose to.

I figured this would give someone a laugh.
HA. That's hilarious. I think someone should make a texture pack like that, where everyting is mixed and screwed up. Lol
-walks in- Wow. This thread has been /dead/ recently. That's what I get for actually playing Minecraft rather than browsing the forums. xD
Anyway. How's everything coming so far, Steel? Or are you too preoccupied with Feathersong?
I'm working on this pack too, but the problem is that I'm unsatisfied with several big things in this pack, and I'm trying to fix them before I plow on ahead.

There's a shade/value conflict between the stone, dirt, and planks that's going to take some resolving. Sounds simple, but it's actually proving quite difficult to overcome.

doesn't sound simple to me, maybe that's because I really don;t know anything about art, not for lack of trying though. Well... uh, have fun!

That sounds... quite complicated, actually. xD
Edit: Okay, odd. Oo I own this page. Give me cookies?

Curse PremiumIt's been done before...too frequently I might add.
Whenever someone says that, I hear Scooby Doo trying to say "waffle."
My Website. I make mods for Minecraft and am also making my own game.
Some screenshots of a map my friend and I are working on (please don't copy our ideas! Though they are only a few pics :biggrin.gif: )
Oh woops, I accidentally deleted the images from the site where I used their url. They will be fixed though though
