How to solve 'ugly' building projects; build them into the underground!
Hell, an example; imagine a tube station in the sky.
You're missing two things here though
1. Redstone underground is even more annoying than building mob grinders
2. An ideal megafarm would cover layers 8 to 128 with as many harvestable resources as possible
Okay, I didn't know the first point because I just poke around with redstone as the strange magical dust it is. Your second point I didn't miss, you didn't say megafarm, you just said build a farm using redstone. :tongue.gif:
So the person running the server I was using turned out to be either autistic, incredibly stupid, or just plain crazy, and I had to leave it.
Now I get to wave goodbye to my tower and spend another WEEK trying to find an equivalent because everyone server is either ****ING ICOMOMY, an RP server, or a PVP server, or some huge moshpit of everything that I find completely unnecessary and annoying.

Unfortunately I can't make my own or I would have resolved all of my problems long ago...
...like banning people who use "u" and "r" or "ur" and "y" because they're all proven to be too immature to interact with other human beings on the internet...
I actually do have a server, but it's private, only known to my family and few friends. However, it's creative, and one of my sister's friends was told the IP, and can do some annoying crap sometimes.
I just want a reliable, small, mostly unmodded survival server where I can be more interactive with the community and enjoy the game. ;-;
Anyway, we've been off course for a while now, so any jungle textures yet, steelfeathers?

But none of us have disposable income and if the ping is over a 90-100ms delay I get annoyed at waiting 5 minutes for the entire visible area to load within a normal view distance...you could say I'm overly picky about that but it's just not fun to play on a server where latency detracts from the experience. :/
(The latter seems to eliminate 90% of servers hosted in Europe...which also happens to be most of them )
Hmm maybe a select few dedicated to recreating a perfectly enchanted village. We could post the save and pics here to promote this thread.
Well if someone makes a proper server I have a billion million hours of my life to waste on Minecraft that I should be using to do something productive with but choose not to, so yeah.
