I'm not sure about advice, but.... umm, hmmm, :dry.gif:. Just don't worry about what looks good (it is minecraft so the beauty is limited), and just make sure everything works, and fits together. Always mash up colors and stuff, and mostly just what looks good to you will probably look good. Good luck. :wink.gif:

(I just removed the front door in case you do want to visit and check out the inside) I started the interior today, got about 30% of the south wing done and I am very pleased with how it's shaping up :tongue.gif:

Okay, I feel the need to interject here, because I for one excel at interiors in minecraft. And 'mashing stuff together' is definitely not the way to achieve the desired effect. If you're having trouble, breather, just try imitating what you find in your house. Or try making cool carpet patterns using different colors of wool. :biggrin.gif:

Oh, and when I say don't worry if it looks good, I meant that it's minecraft, and there's not much you can do to fix things that don't look good. Also, I hate to ask, but would it be possible to get an alternate texture for torches? Maybe something a little more subtle? Your lamps are beautiful and very fitting for the pack, but I've never been a fan of large black lanterns dotting the landscape. ^ ^ I'd substitute another pack's torch myself, but I haven't come across one that I felt matched your style.

I tried searching for various Victorian lighting fixtures, but didn't see anything that was slim and still fit your pack. My Google-Fu may just be weak. :sad.gif: I hope you decide to make something for us 'boring' people, though.
I like the idea of candles with the candle holder thingy on the bottom. Not sure if it'd be that hard to do (the candle holder thingy, that is). But it'd be cool, ya know a little something different is always good. :tongue.gif:

Do you guys want a smaller update soonish (next few days) with all the stuff I've been fiddling around with, or do you want a big whopping christmas present right around the 25 after I've finished with final exams?
I'm asking because I have a day or two of spare time on my hands before the pressure cooker starts up, so I want to get some texturing done, but I probably won't be able to add a lot of 'new' material (revamped textures don't count :tongue.gif:).
Do you guys want a smaller update soonish (next few days) with all the stuff I've been fiddling around with, or do you want a big whopping christmas present right around the 25 after I've finished with final exams?
