For some reason, I've never tried this pack until now, and I must say...
IT'S GORGEOUS!
Everything is clean, yet detailed, and the pack has such a cozy feel to it. I love it!
Only textures I don't really prefer are the lily pad (It's kind of small, and looks a little strange), and the pumpkin, as the vine on the one side is misaligned a bit (I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but I'm too lazy to look through the topic).

The pumpkin vine misalignment is a known issue. I just keep forgetting to fix it. *shot*
Although I'm not sure why you think the lilypads look strange...I looked up pictures on google and pretty much drew what I saw. Unless you're thinking of a different species of lily pad?

I think that they were mistaking lily pads for water lilys. (Pic Below)

I might have 120k downloads....if I added up all the downloads for every version of every pack I've ever made....

I give OCD some credit for having a little more personality than most simple packs but the main reason is, it got popular through his videos, he's on the front page all the time, and has a decent amount of fans on youtube. ONce again, Yogscast. Hopefully they choose you before Sphax.

Oh no, I definitely like ocd pack, which is why I was checking it out in the first place. I'm just upset that I never seem to 'get my day', as it were.
And I'd love for that to happen, but I doubt it. I've pretty much given up holding my breath for someone famous to use my pack. Not trying to sound all emo, I've just realized that it's probably not going to happen. I always seem to lack that X factor...

Your not appealing to the faceless maces, in other words, idiots. You refused to do straight up RPG, and settled for Victorian fantasy. I just hope you don't end up like most artists. In that you hopefully get famous, BEFORE you die.
i personally love this pack, stylistically it's somewhere between doku's RPG(the original, not dokucraft or the thousand reboots) and summer fields.
it's both ornate yet simple, far too many packs are visually plain and lack anything that stands out, or are far too visually busy and drown out the finer details(dokucraft, dorian, johnsmith)
your pack deserves to be more popular than it is, i can't wait to see what you do in later versions. i'm also hoping for aether support once they finally get that up again /notgoingtohappen
Although this pack does deserve more for the obvious amounts of effort put in to it, I think there's a difference between different taste and idiocy.
Ya, your right. But great artist like it, I think that's good validation. The thing is people don't like change, and you made something new. Not being a simple or RPG discourages a lot of people. But you are right, all the effort you put into this pack shows, and it's a shame others don;t see that.

OMG, two new fans in the space of 15 minutes! Whoot!
Welcome to the thread, guys. Pull up a chair. Stay awhile. We're pretty friendly around here. :biggrin.gif:
@luna_panshiel: Thank you for the compliments. Although I'm curious why this pack brings doku's RPG to mind (besides the balance between detail and smoothness you mentioned).
At the end of the day hard work does not go unnoticed. It might lay unseen behind the work of others, good or bad, but by all means, it is noticed. You don't get one hundred thousand downloads if your pack does not have some sort of appeal. You, Feathers, instead of taking the highly populated route of creating an RPG texture pack, chose a less known one in that of Fantasy/Victorian.
What "vfd42" said about change is completely correct. There is a reason why the graphics of so many professionally made games and so many texture packs fall into the mentioned categories. It's because there is an appeal for what has become the standard appearance, with reference to the RPG/Simple style mentioned.
Everyone has their time. As sad as it is, that the acknowledgement from one youtube commentator can really make the difference in the success of a texture pack, it's the way things have become.
The road to success is a longer one when little help is given, but in the end, it proves itself to be a more adventurous ride in the end.
-- Thought that was a neat quote, just though of it on the spot now.
Everyone has their time, Feathers, wait on for the shout out, or keep riding the wave your pack has been on. You've been consistent effort into this pack, and it has grown more noticed. Eventually, someone big will notice it.

Retired StaffThanks! Those look fan-diddly-astic. (Simpsons humor. Lol.)
That looks great! You always seem to find the best terrain for these builds. Color me jelly.
Derp. Forgot about the armor. :tongue.gif:

I hate all the simple, "clean" packs running (well, actually, they're boring, so, standing?) about.
This pack deserves so much more than what it has.
