Those sir, are hands down, the BEST PISTONS EVER. I'm also liking the alternate flowers, more fitting for my gardens. Lastly, I can't comment on the new Lapis block. I never actually use it, I gave up with my main map before it came out (the map I use in any screenshots).
Using the old Lapis Block as a Wool was kinda neat, however, in my personal taste I don't think it tiles very well. Example (sorry for not shrinking them myself):

It's just a thought. I just replaced the yellow lines with one of the blues used in the texture already. Overall however, stunning update. Can't wait to see what you do with Rails, or any other remaining block for that matter. You have earned the classic gift of: (I'd give more, but I'd feel like I'm spamming)
You're right, the does look better with blue lines instead of gold.
Hmmmm, yea, I think the blue wool does look better without the gold, but maybe toning down how bright it is would work rather well too. I really like blue and gold, it's just the gold stands out a little too much in this case. :smile.gif:
EDIT: Just noticed the pictures in the OP. Did you just go to Planet Minecraft and download the popular maps? :tongue.gif:

Holy f**l those pistons are epic. I could annoyingly spam diamond sprites, but I think you deserve something better. Go get an inventory editor and give yourself a REAL diamond.

I know. I'm not sure how to fix it, except to try shading the lines to look like they're embedded in the block...
hmmmm. I think perhaps it needs to be shaded in darker blues perhaps 1 to 2 px wide around it. and the gold needs a touch of variation in the colours, it seems too flat.

One thing that jumped out at me right away was the top of the crafting table. Your draped cloth doesn't line up right. Also, did you mean for the bricks to look round? If you did they look great.
I really like the chests, pistons, doors...I could go on. This is a really, really great pack.

I'm planning to do aether support, but I don't know about wildgrass. Does the mod even work for 1.7.3 now that notch has made his own long grass?
