Hmm, I think I like the old birch more, but it's still good to try to improve. Wait a second... new iron, gold, saplings, netherbrick, cobblestone... it's like your getting rid of all the old textures for a new generation. 0.0 but... i like the old textures... :sad.gif:

I ran out of ideas for building stuff, so I threw together a bigger version of the temple I made earlier:
I both love and hate these screenshots.
I love them because your building skillz are, as always, top notch. This is a fantastic looking temple. Kudos!
But I hate them because they highlight just how much the gold blocks....don't look like gold. So! I just went and played with the color/saturation/contrast a bit more, and I think they're finally starting to actually look like gold.
And because I'm a lazy bum and don't want to bother putting together a bunch of new stuff for a full update, I just went ahead and put the new saplings, nether brick, and re-touched gold up on the customizer.

My little village looks so great with your pack on, I just wanted to say. But it's so small and bland compared to what else has been posted here that I didn't bother taking screenshots.
Also, this is completely unrelated but I decided to start a farm. Before I knew animals were persistent now, I accidentally slaughtered all of the ones living around my area. Eventually, I found them all hanging out in a butt-ugly swamp, so I used some wheat to walk them all back to the empty pasture I had made long ago in the hopes that something would spawn in it. Now I have to walk around my village with the cacophony of a million baby pigs, sheep, and chickens (I didn't find any cows) as my background music. Oh, and don't forget the moaning, hissing, and xylophone-ing of the mob spawner I build directly below the pasture.

Retired StaffI haven't released the new ones yet, so the only place you can see them is my post a few pages back. :smile.gif:
That's what I meant. What ones did you re-texture and show a few pages back, sorry.

Retired StaffOak and birch.
EDIT: Bonsai is oak, twiggy is birch.

And that is why there is a customizer!
There's yet more to come!
