Because my pack isn't a pixel art pack. :biggrin.gif:
And because I personally like things to look a bit smoother. And it takes too long to make it smoother going pixel-by-pixel.
I'm glad for your success with your pack, Steel. I discontinued my pack. :sad.gif:
Just wondering, would you be willing to take it over? :smile.gif:
I don't want my work to go to waste, so I want to find somebody who would like to take care of it. Figured I'd ask. :happy.gif:

Would you be terribly offended if I say no? I frankly don't have time for my own packs at the moment, much less a fan continuation. Sorry. :sad.gif:
I've recently started following this pack after hearing about it for a while. My tastes in texture packs seem to fly around like the wind, so while maybe when I first heard about it it didn't appeal to me, I'm finding myself liking the style used here more and more. However there are a few things that do bother me - don't worry overmuch, no pack is perfect and this one is pretty darn good as it is! Mostly it's personal preference anyways.
What's bothering me for the most part is the Nether. It's cool that you've stylized it the way you have, what with the dark dungeon styled blocks and soul sand, but it's so dark-colored that it's very difficult to see in it, even if I turn the brightness up all the way. Might I suggest a lighter or redder-colored alt for those that prefer a more typical nether, or one that is more easily seen in? Just thought I'd throw my two cents out there.
The only other gripes I have are that some of the items and mobs aren't textured, but that's probably because you're still working on it, or don't plan to at all. But the default pixelated items and mobs are so out-of-place compared to the wonderful textures you've done that it almost feels like a crime to leave such a stark contrast between them... Again, merely a personal opinion, but I'm sure that me and many others would be thrilled to have a fully-textured pack from you someday. c:
That aside, I'm loving this pack. Keep up the great work. <3

Thanks for the review!
First, I fully intend to finish all the mobs and items. I simply haven't gotten to everything yet. :smile.gif:
Also, I agree that the nether is a bit dark. I'm still working on finding a way to lighten it without making it red, because I hate the cloying feel of red nether. :tongue.gif:
Meh, I don't mind the swamps. And apparently water biome shading is super hard to do... but the grass could use quite the improvement. Here's a new pic of me going into the end! :ohmy.gif:
(The portal blocks actually look quite nice in this pic, lol)

Hm...I guess they look okay there. It's just something about seeing them against lava that gets on my nerves...

I swear Steel, you seem to go through streaks where (it seems) you don't sleep at all.
Really? I hadn't noticed. *persistent and uncontrollable eye twitch, accompanied by trembling hands*

Curse PremiumYou bet...though I pass on the minions moniker. :tongue.gif:
How could they release a game with a known ugly bug as big as that! Good for you, Steel.

Retired StaffDon't worry, the current alternates aren't going away. Until I make better silvery alternates, that is.
