It's a very soft metal and I think it would look better if it had a couple of dings and scratches on it. That's just me though, I like the worn look.

It does have a bit of...ding-ed-ness...to it, but you can't really tell from far away.

Besides, I'm saving the scratched/worn/ruined look for when I finally get around to making a Beastly version of this pack. :3

A while ago someone asked me to make a video of me creating a texture. I'm too camera shy to try to preform on film, so I made a little freeze-frame tutorial instead. :biggrin.gif:



1) Start with a base color
2) Outline design areas
3) Add shading
4) Finish the pixel art version of the block. (@Leostereo: See? I make pixel art for every block. :biggrin.gif:)
5) Use the good-ole smudge tool to soften the edges.
6) And last but not least, apply a liberal application of cheap tricks, fiddle with the brightness/saturation/contrast, and voila!

There are very few packs that have finished everything- SphaxBD is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. So it's going to be awhile before everything you see in-game has been changed. :smile.gif:

What texture am I going to do next? I haven't a clue. I'll know when it's finished. :laugh.gif:
