I don't mean that I hate the health bar, I mean, it's got a good aesthetic quality. It's just- I think I expect it to be red. Or have some kind of colour. The apples, that was a stroke of genius, and when I leaned closer to the screen during an intense, Creeper-stabbing moment, I noticed just how detailed they are. I don't even like apples (some vegetarian I am) but I think I'd still probably munch on yours. No euphemisms there, honest.
If you were to ask for my honest opinion (which you probably won't, so I'll give it to you anyway) I'd suggest maybe filling the cross with something. But that's just me, and I can live without it. Perhaps you're right in not putting colour in it; one of my lessons in college is held in a building constructed in that time period (it's called The Victoria Theatre, how original), and it's not particularly the most flamboyant place in town.

You're right, they do blend in a little with the shield icons. Do you think it would help if I made the hardcore health icons (the ones with the big diamond in the center) into the regular health icons?
Although I'm too much of a wimp to have played Hardcore mode yet (just got off Peaceful because I didn't like Creepers destroying my children buildings and constructions) I think it would. Speaking as a person who almost* had a GCSE in art, bear in mind, I believe so.
Just something to break up the copper colour. You can save it for your next update if you want, I'm a-okay waiting. I don't like giving any kind of criticism because I know how much work you've put in to this for us all, and I just feel nasty.
I really can't stress how much I love this pack though. Did I mention I love the pack? 'cause I love the pack.
