I think I'll be patient and wait 'til this comes out in full. Looks stellar so far, though, and I admit it's hard to resist dropping your torches in what I'm using now...

Here's a few screenshots of the adventure map I'm making with your pack on:
The outside of the temple (Inside the temple is where the main adventure takes place.):
The airship you, according to the story, fly in on:

The "Sacrifice Room" of the temple where some ancient dudes chucked stuff into a glowing creeper's mouth:
If it wasn't already made painfully obvious by the fact that the whole map is made of the damn stuff, I like your sandstone.

I'll edit this comment later with my reaction, once I can see them.(See comment below!) I'm really excited to hear you're making a map, though!
* The dark, glossy feel of the chests, furnaces and workbench are gorgeous!
* Lapis Lazuli block looks too much like it's a wool.
* The soulsand is an absouletely original idea, if it fits with the rest of the pack is questionable, maybe make the bones more dead? (Black?)
* Wools a nice idea, it makes it feels more like you're actually on wool carpet instead of sheep skin (D:), looking forward to see how you put complementary colours/designs on the wools in the future.
* The iron/redstone ores I'm still iffy on, that's personal opinion though.
^ * Me being colourblind, yes; the ore do look like their namesakes now!
* Glass is simple but ornate.. rather good thing you did there, sir!
I agree, the lapiz does look too much like a wool. I'll move it before the next update.

Wow! That looks really awesome! I especially like how large and imposing the ship is, and how intricate the designs on the floor are. Nice job. Here, have a diamond.

Well, if you want to try the pack here's a link to the alpha version, which only has the first few trials, the airship, and the readme file. (I'll even give you credit in the readme under the Alpha Testers section. Just reply to let me know you are actually testing the map, and don't forget to give feedback!)
I feel screenshots aren't required because you've already seen those.
And for feedback, your pack looks amazing, at least what you have done. When it's fully out I will use it all the time. I'm looking forward to your take on things like pistons and solid ore blocks. I also really love the redstone. I like how it's not technologically-advanced wires (These work for Glimmar's theme, but they wouldn't go with this pack for sure), but at the same time not a primitive dust trail, like in vanilla.

Green carpet is sexy, have you considered adding your Lost Valley Leopardskin for all those studies and libraries beloved of victorian mansions? Maybe Tigerskin too?
Poses on rug "Bagged this blighter terrorizing a village in Bengal..."
The lightstone is amazing. Goes well with the doors and windows too.
Please Miss, can I have some more? Sniffles and does her best to look like adorable urchin...
