People say if you can fix the 'broken' parts of the portals (the one in my picture being top left) with an Eye of Ender, or something, you go to the Sky Dimension, it's all very sketchy, though, it does look possible though, I'm not going to say 'Sure you can go to the Sky Dimension!', I don't believe peoples word often.
The debug glass shafts go up in a... shaft, so yes, they're a pillar. :tongue.gif:

The judge had a very hard time with this one folks, and in the end she decided Oys' glowstone pack.png would be used as the default pack.png, and Epiclinkfan's beautiful creation would serve as the alternate pack.png. Sadly Epiclink, your wonderful creation was just too large to be properly appreciated when scaled down in-game.
But never fear! BOTH of you will be able to chose an alternate texture, made specifically for the winners of this contest by Steelfeathers herself! So leave a comment with a description of your requested texture. :biggrin.gif:
From what I've heard, there are the 2 different kind of the blue "stuff" found in the strongholds. The solid blocks are good, but the others are broken and can be repaired with the Eye of Ender (as previously stated). Once it's repaired, you can create a portal to the sky dimension (the code isn't there, so no one knows how to "light" it). The actual portal blocks look like this:

Well that's the way it is for the moment, sadly. Fortunately, this is just a pre-release, so it may change.
It may release like this, but may get more things added in later (just like the Nether has been revamped lately). Who knows, it's all speculation anyhow :tongue.gif:

But I don't know how long it will take me to re-texture everything-- minecraft is moving far too quickly for me at the moment, and I'm having a great deal of trouble keeping up. I haven't even found a stronghold yet, much less seen a testificate. Frankly, the idea of having to figure out all this potions nonsense is giving me a bit of a headache.

Well I'm not going to wait until November, but I probably won't have all the new textures completed before 1.9 is released for real. Everyone will just have to lump it. :biggrin.gif:

So I'm hiding in my 1.8 hole. But I have a fun save where I'm building epic mansions for every pack I use. I have a very nice one for this pack. And am working on one for Dorian's.
