I LOVE that lily pad steel, so when can we expect the next update to come?
If you guys are okay with just mooshrooms, the new tools I posted a few days ago, and the 1.9 terrain textures, then I can have post the update in just a few minutes. If you want the rest of the tools and/or GUI, it's going to take a while.

Now i just wanna hug you steel! :biggrin.gif: *viritual hug*
The netherrack change is going to be pretty drastic, and I'm not sure how much I'll like it, but oh well.
Would you like me to post the netherrack that will be going in to my texture pack?
I had a lot of homework to get in my way, but I finally finished what I call Mushroom Towers. It's all legitimate, except for one block. (The tower had no torches and was relying on natural light at that point. An enderman apparently spawned in one of the higher mushrooms at night and broke one of the blocks in the centre pillar. Since you can't get mushroom blocks naturally, I used SPC to replace it. I had to restart building this several times because of one mistake on blocks that would look weird if replaced.)
From bottom to top:
Quick-access room, with a double chest, a workbench and a furnace
Bedroom, with my first ever use of a glass pane
Storage room 1
Storage room 2, with another workbench. There are 8 chests in all in the entire structure (3 double chests i.e. 6 single chests and two more single chests)
Furnace-room, containing 9 furnaces. There are 10 furnaces in all
The incredibly catchy-named Viewshroom (glass blocks around the walls. Glass panes would have looked awkward.)
Loving all the new things and new Nether ideas, mate. :smile.gif:
The Deadly Nightshade and Mossy Mooshroom cow are a delight! They made me smile, though I'm not sure I should be smiling about Deadly Nightshade. Haha! Can't be any worse than Nether mushrooms, surely!
Okay, I'm establishing a new thread rule as of right now:
No lurkers allowed. Anyone who looks at this pack more than once must comment!
Okay, I'll follow the new rule :biggrin.gif:
I've been using your texture pack since the first 1.8 prerelease, when it was the only one updated, and I have checked this thread... at least every other day since then to check for updates. I love this pack, the textures really give MC an elegant feel. Especially the pumpkins. Very nice touch with the curly vines there!
I can't wait to see what you will continue to do with the pack in the coming updates! Thanks for making this for us :smile.gif:
puts hand up....ummmm I have and idea you'd probably not like buuuuut...I think you should keep the old nether rack (the bricks) and make the nether bricks look like a stronger, more uniform, version of the old bricks. If you did that, it would give the impression that the whole nether was made of those strongholds until the ghasts came and blew it up, cracking the bricks and creating a giant cave like structure. then the new stronghold will be the places not affected.

I wanted to use something besides bricks for the netherrack to keep everything from looking the same-- contrast is a very good thing to have in a dark, mostly uniform area like the nether. Give the new netherrack a try and let me know what you think of it after you've had a while to play with it. I personally think it looks rather nice. :smile.gif:
(Although I probably just broke a lot of giant constructions....oops....)
@Epic fan: Go ahead. :3

Not bad, eh? :biggrin.gif:
Excellent work, my minion.

No worries, I smiled about it too. It's just so....sinister....*cackles*

Retired StaffMoar tools!
Mossy moonlight faerie mooshroom (say that five times fast)
New netherrack
Dungeon-style nether brick and Deadly Nightshade (sinister purple blossoms that grow on the decaying remains of the dungeon's victims ^^).
And last but not least, lily pads.
**Mushroom biomes updated in v0.7**
Would you like me to post the netherrack that will be going in to my texture pack?
There's yet more to come!
Epic, puts my Mushroom tower to shame.
Gah
Misplaced apostrophes. >_<
There's yet more to come!

Sorry, I'm a bad spellar, but I fixed it. Go see for yourself.
That "spellar" was intentional, right?
Edit: Why was this +1'd?
Edit2: +6...
There's yet more to come!
Hmm, that is a good question. Victorian is too advanced for a flint and steel but too old for a gas lighter...
I'm interested to see how Steel manages it.
My Website. I make mods for Minecraft and am also making my own game.
I used your pack for the screenshots here.

Haha, I knew no one could say 'mossy moonlight faerie mooshroom' five times fast. :biggrin.gif:
uh.....
....uuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....................
Well.... theme is 'Enchanted', so I'm pretty sure I could fudge some kind of flint and steel and call it legit. ^^
Excellent work, my minion.

Looks great! :wink.gif:
Thanks! ...I find that only the very best initiation ceremonies involve eating mushrooms. I'm off to find my spirit guide :Sheep:!
