I'm using soul sand at the bottom of the moat I am currently building. It looks wonderfully ominous. (Although I don't know how people build the huge structures I see posted. Just getting this wall and moat up is driving me buggy.)

What do you guys use pistons for? I generally use them for retractable furniture.
