Why am I always so late to find out about epicness! Ok first off, I agree. the solid black eyes are creepy. Yours are cute, and magical. and I just love the new update. As much as I love the square sun and moon, yours are soooo nice.
Why can't I? You just said it-- I can't get both swamps AND mushroom biomes at the same time with 1.8. ;_;
Well I haven't done my mushroom biome stuff yet so I have no reason to upgrade unless I upgraded with your pack (but yours works with 1.8 anyway so I have no real incentive to!)...
So yea, I think I'm gonna stick on 1.8.1 until the real 1.9 is released or at least 1.9pre2.
Those swamp biomes really did make me feel a bit depressed about playing too. Time for some fallout 3 then!
I like the nether blocks, but not mobs, mushroom biomes are epic, but look ugly. But thanks to your pack, the are MAGICAL! anyways, what else. Love the new items, and everything as always....

WHY SQUIDWARD MOBS! Notch already stated that when he added Pigmen, they would be found in NPC villages! I wanted that! Not SQUIDWARDS!

That mod looks interesting, but my problem is that I'm not really interested in new features (like villagers)-- I want features introduced in 1.8 to be completed/bug fixed. Which hasn't happened.

Ok, got the structure done for my epic, enchanted build. Now I just have to decorate inside. No pics yet. I want everything to be a surprise. But I love it, and it's all 100% legit. Should be done by monday.

There's a guy working on modding that in right now. Man, if it wasn't for modding, this game would be a bit... underwhelming.
