lol, sorry. It's way over-counting the number of visitors to your profile for some reason. I once went from 30k to 37k in about 24 hours, but only 9 people visited my profile.
Most people are afraid of adf.ly. Yogscast spreading rumors of viruses didn't help much. Also, some people seem to think that they have to pay money to use adf.ly links. No idea were that came from.
As for traffic...let me check something real quick. This site might have something to do with it, though it was posted a while ago. He uses the original download links so when he posted Impressions there my downloads spiked. (15-20 a day to 700 in one day, they are since back down to 15-20)

I would download if it weren't for the Nether. But other than that it is pretty good.

'Cause they can, sometimes I do think they overuse their popularity, like them 'getting there fans' (they didn't really get them to do it, just some zealous fans reactions) to try and get BTW mod in the Yogbox. I just don't think they fully understand what a stray sentence in a video can do.

I've only done what you saw last night-- iron sword, diamond sword, iron ax, diamond ax. Well, there's the wooden and stone swords from before, but they aren't new.
And wait, why would they try to get their fans to get BTW on the yogbox? Don't they run the yogbox?
The original creator of BTW has always stated that his mod will never be in a mod compilation (what the yogbox is).
Yogscast did a showcase of his mod, and Lewis loosely stated 'This needs to be in the Yogbox'.
Then the Yog-effect happened, hundreds of Yognaughts went over to his thread, trolling, flaming and basically making his thread a mess trying to get him to include it in the Yogbox.
I can't really remember what happened next, but I vaguely remember Lewis telling everybody to stop, and then Lewis and the guy who created the mod had a conversation, where if I remember right, the creator was extremely bitter, and it was nearly impossible for Lewis to not put a foot wrong.
In the end the creator stated he'd never give permission, and it died down, but I'm sure Yognaughts continue to this day asking him to include it in the Yogbox, i don't know how he's not stopped.

I don't see why anyone would consider trolling/flaming an effective means of persuasion.
See feathers this is why I like you. So many mod/texture pack makers are so bitter. I mean, it's understandable becuase they work really hard to make awesome things, and then have to deal with mostly trolls, but every now and then someone like simo (SPC) or you, (or most other artists that post on this threads) comes along and is just nice and helpful. So thank you.
But me and my friend have had many discussions on why the BTW guy is just a flat out jerk.
