Just make the grass on top go away, or make the dirt texture brown and grass texture brown on all sides but the top, and put a 1 pixel layer of green at the top of each side.

It'll look a lot smoother, and more people will download it.

If you're going to post some half-assed, ugly, not even complete texture pack, expect to get harsh comments. I mean, come on, the dirt is green, the bricks have cyan cement, the tnt...Ugh, did you even TRY to put any effort into it?
My suggestion is to look up some pixel art tutorials. Or look at other packs for reference (Not saying for ideas for textures or to copy them, but so you get the gist of pixel art). Even if it's your first pack, it shouldn't be this bad.

There are tons of simple packs out there, but they have... well, I'll be honest; better textures. Try something original, like a themed pack, or a themed 32x, or something.
But simple is overdone as it is, and if you can't offer something new, don't try.

I'm 14, my packs get featured on websites like Minecraftcustomizer.net. Age doesn't mean **** with stuff like this. It's not that hard. It seems you don't know **** about making texture packs. At least figure out what's what on the terrain.png. I'm amazed you knew how to put it in to a zip folder.

Just, differiating (shut up MC forum, I know I spelled that wrong) from the YO I'M 10 AND ON THE INTERNET LOL, I'm just going to say that, few people want smooth textures like this, you have 2, max 3 colours on one texture, and the colours aren't picked very well either.
For example, why is the cement between the bricks cyan, and you just scribbled "TNT" and a crude smiley face on the TNT. Not only that, you did it in cyan, again, which doesn't look good.
And now, the gold ore is a yellow block, that yellow block looks boring and silly! The coal is also just a darker grey blob, like it's just a smudge of grease or something.
The log's lines do not touch the top nor bottom, which makes it incredibly obvious where the block starts and ends, this does not look and therefore makes your textures look even more amateur, which means that people will pick a better, more experienced texture pack instead!
Try to improve on these points, everyone needs to start somewhere.
(This is probably the nicest thing I've ever said to anyone ever that made a shitty smooth pack like this).
