I don't like it anymore. Though I never played 4th edition. The skills in 3 and 3.5 were broken. Characters became to powerfull too early. Especially if you have a creative group. For example. I was playing with a group once that included my brother. He was playing a shaolin monk with tiger swords. I was playing a samurai/kirijutsu master. We were all 9th level and had multiple attacks. We decided to get creative. My brother would hook both arms behind the soldier (both attacks with the hook swords) and then kick him in the back of the leg. Making him kneel and technically prone. Then I would coup de grace the guy.
It was crazy.
Since then I have decided to write my own rule set. It has been put on a back burner for now though.

in order to stay slightly on topic.
I think it would be interesting to create a giant Steve statue or two outside a house and use this pack to accentuate the whole doll house idea.

WOW, that whole post is chalk -full of epic. I'm kind of with you. Me and my friends got sick of the rules (im-balancing, and cause we were lazy) so, we just play with our own casual rules. It's much more fun that way!
Hey, sorry to ask so soon, but is there any chance of this pack getting updated with 1.9?
and is there room for an idea/suggestion about the armors?
*Is really enjoying this texture pack, for some odd reason*

Enjoying this pack is not odd-- in fact, it's rather encouraged. :biggrin.gif:
Although I am being obstinate about 1.9 and don't want to do the textures for it (given that I hate almost 2/3 of what was added) I am definitely open to suggestions about armors. :wink.gif:
I would start screaming 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'
But you're making another one, so it's all good. ^^

Ya, and this time I'll have my friend, who is crazy good at red-stone, to help me.
I love the screenshots so far!
I can't wait to try! :biggrin.gif:
I've been looking for a decent texture pack for a while, and this one seems like it'll be the one!

Retired StaffNo, 42, playing tabletop just makes you a geek. XD
You know I love you.
I know.
At least I don't LARP. I am not that...geeky. My cousin is trying to talk me into it though.
*sigh* It's hard to be polite to a person when you think their idea is horrible and you want nothing to do with it.

Retired StaffThanks!
I've actually never played DD, which means that I'm not really entitled to have an opinion on it...but oh well, I do anyway. :biggrin.gif:

I'll definetly consult you if we get stuck, or when we need beta testers.

Mushroom grass
OOh that is beautiful. Love the nether wort. And vines. And of course, the mushroom dirt. THAT stuff is pure win.
