I saw Cupcake using your texture pack in one of her videos. This has become my favorite texture pack! I love the stones and ovens especially. I am having trouble telling the difference between the gold and iron ore in my inventory though, so I hope that might be a fix later on down the line, to make it easier to see the difference instead of having to mouse over them to see what it is. Otherwise, I absolutely love, love, love this texture pack!

I'm not sure why you're having trouble, since I made them the same colors they are in regular minecraft.
Anyway, I'm glad you enjoy it, and I'm especially glad to hear that you like the stone. It hasn't proven too popular with most people...
ok, so far this is the third texture pack I have seen of yours, and there all BRILLIANT! How did you become a agod amongst texture packs. YOur just incredible, I love the leaves on this, it's probably the best "simple" texture I've seen. I don't know how I'm supposed to decide which one of yours to use.

lol, thanks for the god-hood. :biggrin.gif:
I actually have FOUR packs now, so check out the newest one. It's called Steelfeather's Enchanted pack (I actually got narcissistic enough to put my name on it :wink.gif:). No one really seems to care about it now that it's been released, though I have no idea why.
And as for deciding which one to use...maybe you could create a different world for each one, since the themes are all so different?
Just wondering-- once I finish everything, do you guys want mod support? And if so, what mods? (Aether is a given). I'd prefer not to make textures for mods that are TOO obscure, though.
I personally don't use many mods save for mo creatures so, it wouldn't matter much to me. But if you'd like to spend the effort you are welcome to, haha. :happy.gif:

Better than wolves, like the Aether, it's like adding a whole new world to minecraft, and with it, a but load of textures.
wait, 4? Ive found this one, Lost Valley, and your victorian one, whats the 4th?
Assassini-Costruttori (labeled as Assassincraft/Renaissance on the forums). I don't have a link to it handy (I'm at work), so just google it. You should find it pretty quickly. :biggrin.gif:
It was my first; ergo, it's not as good as the others. Be prepared for lameness.
lol, when I first saw this on the forum, I immediately thought of the Henrik Ibsen play of the same name for some reason.....anyways, this is a pretty good pack considering that it's kinda out of your paradigm.

Yeah, 32x is more my cup of tea than 16x. But, you know, sometimes I just want something simple, smooth, and happy, and 16x definitely fits the bill for that.
Your friendly neighborhood Kingpin here...
Saw this i was skimming the forums, and i tend to like 16px packs more than HD. I liked your LostValley work, so i was not surprised to take a liking to this one as well. I personally would not call this a 'simple' pack. Yes it is 16 but simple it is not. Great work on the GUI and tying all the textures together. Great work. 'Keep on koding.'

Out of curiousity, what would you define a simple pack as, then?

I can't speak for the great, powerful, strict, yet merciful king of pins, but I would say packs like Visibility, etc. designed for only enough detail so you know what each block is. Where as your's has excess detail, and even some themes. Just because it has the same resolution as default minecraft, doesn't make it simple.

But even then, my pack is still 'simplistic'-- aka, no detailed shading, no attempt to make it look life-like.
I guess we just need to come up with a better definition for 'simple' pack, then. :smile.gif:
I will admit, out of all of the textures I have used this one is by far my favorite! The only thing I'm not really a fan of, is the glass. Its sort of hard to see out of, other then that its perfect.
Good things about your pack: Super smooth, Comforting, and good colors.
Nice job!
Thanks! That's what I was going for. :wink.gif:
