Version 0.7 is up.

Swiss Rustic v0.7

download is in the OP as well.

New stuff: (everything is still being worked on and is mostly being added only to test them out so far)
-grass color
-foliage color
-dispenser
-bed
-piston
-enhanced cobblestone
-enhanced grass sides (much better in my opinion)
-enhanced netherrack and soul sand

we wont be able to do much with the texture pack/thread for a while (starting in a few days) so it would help out a lot if anyone wants to take some screenshots of some of the new stuff and post them here. (i haven't even been able to see how half of it looks in-game yet). if we add your screenshot to the OP we will credit you and link to your profile. some criticism or opinions on any of the textures will help very much also. your help will be greatly appreciated. If we fall off the grid for a little while do not fret, for we shall return shortly.

Wow, my items actually look pretty flattering when arranged like that. Maybe I ought'ta replace my items preview in the OP with that to save space. Thanks Lilyo.

a little sneak peak of what i might be doing on the plane ride back to the U.S.

Enhanced items!:
The bottom items are 32x and the top are 128x
i'm trying to keep them identical to how my brother drew them.



let me know what you think, this takes a very long time to do so if you like it gimme some motivation bros!

thanks man, your welcome to use anything we have so far in your pack if you would like. i think they would go nicely with your textures.

Its so so tempting, It really is. I may think about it. I have been completely against using other people textures. (I pinched johnsmiths foliage and grass colour with his good graces just cause the default grass colour did not suit my pack.)

If I do I will PM and double check. I would only be using them till I did my own.... GAH you put me at a moral dilemma sir :smile.gif:

I just realised I lost the download of your pack, so I figured I would get your 0.7 textures and have a gander... will get back to you when I have looked up close like.


edit- had an idea, perhaps when I get 0.8 done I will add an alternate link with your items in it with full credit etc and no adfly link on it, just for people who want items in the pack without having to put them in themselves.... hmmmm. a good thought possibly.

DoGrey, you have 100% of my full permission, approval, and pizza to use my items for whatever you deem necessary. A link for credit is all I'd need, and I have no doubt you would supply it so it's not even important to mention, really.
The cool thing is, my items are sorta on the darker side, which would actually fit your pack very nicely.
There's no moral dilemma here, just use the items and enjoy with complete enjoyment.
Oh, and that link for the items is a great idea. I get many compliments on my items so if anyone wants to use them, that link would be a great portal for that sort of thing to happen.

I will think on it. When I release 0.8 I think I will do an alternate version with your items so people dont have to wait around for me to put some in. Cause fingers crossed I will have 98% of my terrain sheet done then.

I will try and give some feedback on your actual pack tomorrow when I wake up. For now its upload my new avatar that i made weeeeeeeeeeee. and Then bed.

looking good. Only thing I can say is on the 128x textures is refine the edges, and when done making them look like the 32x ones, add some slight detailings you wouldn't be able to fit on a 32x one :smile.gif:

@Dorian: yep, That's the plan man. my brother will probably go in after i'm done and add some fine detail to his liking.

love this texture pack, all the textures mix together so perfectly and it makes the world so beautiful, this is for u:
