COPYRIGHT - YOU COPY I WILL KILL YOU!!! Someone just threated to steal. You take anything with out my permission I have the right to sue you.
Haha, I don't really think suing is gonna be possible. You should probably just put a disclaimer up there.
I really wish the mods would put up a copyright disclaimer like they did for mods.

Ya I'm a noob to publishing stuff, don't know what to put for a copyright thing, just no one steal!
Can anyone make a banner or do a video with it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Since I'm excited to see such eager talent, here's a few helpful items to make your first Texture Pack stand out a bit better:
1) This is copperdomebodha's Test Track Map, which I'm sure you've seen used on Texture Maps. Keep the world on Peaceful; and you should be able to make dynamic screenshots showing nearly everything in your Terrain.png at once: http://www.minecraft...-release-v-0-4/
2) Advertising your textures with a nice Banner is important; but its actually not as hard as you think, especially since there's a host of Banner creation sites which automate (Dummy-Proof :wink.gif: ) the process for you. Here's a couple I've used:
-> http://signaturecraft.himynameisaj.me/ (a true Minecraft-orieented one)
-> http://www.mybannermaker.com/ (A more generic site with Facebook and MySpace uses... I made this one in minutes with some loose clipart)
3) This is a very useful & simple program I've used before in personalizing texture packs others have abandoned or similar "free-work". It makes the job of making Art files (kz.png) easier, which is plus in my book. Try it; See if it helps you out:

Oh.... and "OP" ...? It means Opening Post, the one you made which describes the Texture Pack, shows screenshots, gives the download links, etc. Yours is a bit lacking in details; but hey, its your first time doing this. From that standpoint, its good. Some solid advice: Look how the more-popular Texture Packs are presented in their threads, and use it to find your own style. Everybody has their own way of creating an Opening Post; Its a signature-thing that makes them stand out in the crowd. Keep working on this Pack; It has a lot of potential, and I'm excited to see where it might go. Just don't bite off more than your skill can handle. There are going to people who will demand a lot; but if you don't pace yourself, you'll burn out.... I found that out the hard when I got a bit obsessive with Wizard101....
Be seeing you around.... I'm Watching the thread....
You've made a great texture pack. Especially for your age and little experience. May I make a suggestion though;
The sand/ores/cobblestone/stone look a bit odd. The sand is too dark for me and the cobble stone and normal stone have 2 problems. Stone looks too much like gravel, (as does dirt) and cobblestone it too "cracked". Ores also look a little "dirty" and dull-like. Overall, great texture pack though.
Frankly, i think this is a great pack for a first try! Your art is nice on most things, although the sand and wool is too grainy for my tastes, and the grass is a bit... "Meh" colored. I hope you keep up the great work on this, I hope more people get this pack. :wink.gif:

But I don't use a mac computer, Mac is just my last name xD But macs are okay, I don't want anyone going into a big of Windows vs. Mac.
banneror do a video with it, it would be greatly appreciated.:biggrin.gif:
Just need a video now :ohmy.gif:

I am going to be honest with you, some textures I barely changed and just edited the original texture, mainly since my imagination is really boring :L
But other textues, like dirt, cobble, stone, ect I started completely fresh, So I didn't do all the textures from scratch but most I did.

You see that green button with the plus? You dont have to click it, and I am not gonna force you to do it.
What do you mean by items? Do you mean like chests? Or like swords?
:cool.gif:
I think when they said "items", they were referring to the specific tile in the terrain.png file.... But I could be wrong...
Like I promised in my last Post, I am keeping an eye on this thread.... :wink.gif:
:cool.gif:
Oh.... and just because I wasn't sure if you understood how to set up a Banner Link....
Just Copy-Paste this into your Signature; and it should look like this:
When you edit your Opening Post, just use the "Code" option under the "Other Styles" tab on the Posting editor....
YW.....
:cool.gif:
Thanks a ton :biggrin.gif:
I like the grainy feel of it.
A lot of people ether like the grainyness or hate it xD Glad to hear you like it :smile.gif:
