Yeah...the smooth stone IS the pack IMO. It's what makes it so cool to use to me. That and all the glass/iron work including the doors and whatnot. You and Feathers rule at that.
you words of kindness always warm my weary soul faust, good to see you in here.
fire away, feedback can only improve my work :smile.gif:
Alright, well I really like the style of the pack in general and the color theme. I think it's a little bit similar to mine but low resolution. :tongue.gif: Anything I don't write about here is something I loved. And the stuff I'll write about is just my opinion of course...
Doors are darker than planks. I think it would be better if they were the same lightness and color:
Flowing water and still water are a different color. Also still water isn't really animated but I'm guessing you'll get to that before it's a "final version":
Smooth stone and cobble are a lot different in contrast and tint. I'd like if they were a little closer, because the way it is now makes smooth stone look a little like dirt/sand to me.
Smooth stone tiling has some dark streaks in it. I'd like better if it was "smooth" but maybe you made it like that on purpose. If you did, you can ignore this comment...
I don't really like the design of gold blocks because they don't tile well when you can see the top and the side. I think 4-way symmetry is the best choice for blocks like this. I think iron blocks are a little "flat" too, but I can live with them.
Sand pattern is "straight" which isn't too bad but I'd prefer it to be more interesting. What really bothers me about sand though is that the dark areas are more saturated than the light areas. It looks more flat to me like that.
Anyway, that's all. Feel free to do whatever you want, including nothing, with my opinions. :tongue.gif:
excellent, haven't had feedback like that in a long time. It was all pretty sound as well. I want to redo cobble,
I am not happy with it. Sand I may do something less static at some point. OH and water is apparently munted as i left the defaul water showing underneath it when I saved the terrain I think. (I should possilby fix that) I will look into
doing animated still water sometime, but its low on my list of things to do. Oh and I really need to do new wooden doors, been on my list for a while now.
Thanks for the feedback :smile.gif:
EDIT- Apparently I am lord of page 57, bow down and worship peons!

ohhhhhh looks like it could be a cheap way to animate still water (pardon the offence in that sentence)
I may use it till I come up with something of my own.

Yeah, but you can use some other things too. Just put it at half opacity or something over another animation.
thanks mate!

thanks mate, don't be too critical, its definitely a work in progress.
sorry, my browser is on the fritz, so things like that happen. Anyways, love this pack, as always. Hope those problems get worked out.
maybe a couple, life is still flat out.
just busy busy.
thanks mate.
cheers for the support vfd42
I will hopefully be able to get some work done soon guys, no promises right now.
I understand, if you want my feedback I can post it though.
at the moment, feel free. It may be some time before i update, but i am doing bits and peices when i can. Just nothing substantial enough.

Retired StaffI'm exempt from bowing and scraping due to my status as a fellow kinda-sorta-well-known texture pack maker. >:3

Curse PremiumThat would make me very sad too. :sad.gif:
I really hope that isn't the case, as Dorian is one of the nicest guys here on the forums and a very talented artist too.
I hope everyone can give this some more lovin' in the hope that Dorian looks in soon!
