Hey Dorian. Just downloaded this, and damn, I almost ate my pc when I laid eyes upon my juicy world. Except for one thing: The torches. Whats up with the black "outline" (or what you'll call it) around the flame on them?

its iron, its actually a charcoal colour. I will look into doing an alternate torch sometime.
Give a dropbox download? My firewall blocks mediafire, megaupload, etc. Or change the planet minecraft one so that it downloads from there, not from mediafire.

Well if it's intentional I guess I can check some other mods out and fiddle with the texture pack and add that torch :tongue.gif:
To me it just seems like the outline is sort of where the torch should be, and it looks alright (though I still don't REALLY like it :tongue.gif:) when the torch is placed on the ground. However, when it's placed on a wall, it looks like I the flame is trying to escape upwards, whilst the outline is following the direction of the torch (diagonally upwards).
Hope I'm making sense, kind of tired and in a hurry :tongue.gif: Will check back in tomorrow.
the outline is dark metal, as is on the doors and windows. I will do an alternate sometime.
Message to Dorian and everyone else: I got in contact with the owner and admins on a great site and I myself laid out rules for them, it is an awesome site called www.minecraftwb.com and they JUST made a texture pack section along with a database just for packs!. If you like go over to there and sign up, the site is growing HUGE.

I wanted something a bit different, It looks a lot better in game, just need to sort out what background I use behind the squares, If I use one at all. Cheers for the feedback.

EDIT: what on earth is that angry face in the background? Pumpkin?
the game auto darkens it. I need to make the grey darker on the buttons.
and yes its the new pumpkin texture.
