On a macbook, that key represents a brightness shader. Did my best to try and make it
a little bit less "stretched", but it kinda failed.
I'll give it another go, at taking a better pic.
Quite frankly... I don't care if this makes in the OP of this thread,
I just thought since this is the time people are posting pics, I might
as well show a nice area I found after putting in a random seed.

THATS THE SPIRIT! This comp is more about getting my texture pack shown off in my thread as much as it is about getting a spot in the OP. If you like my pack then post pictures people, follow MSchwaa's example :smile.gif: for you.
wow, i really like the atmosphere of this... now if only itbe possible to change sky color...
If only, I think mods are the only thing that can change it, I might have a hunt round and see if I can find a good mod for it that I can recommend to the pack users.
I can hardly see it hahaha. what resoultion do you take these at? It does look cool from what I can see though.
I have no idea what resolution I play in, I know it's not fullscreen because I don't consider the 15% drop in my already low fps worth playing in fullscreen
Oh and I do use mipmapping for the sake of making things further away look cleaner

Im in australia so the pings will be awful.
If you could full screen it just for the screenshots, so they aren't such a small res, that would be sweet :smile.gif:
What time is it in... uhhhh Australia? Not too sure on that one but I believe it is Monday(comp end date) and around noon. Even though the contest is soon to be over expect more screenies to keep the variety comin'!

the resoultions of these became a big problem, If anyone can take a higher resolution of the same shots (I think its hyp and Cowed who have low res ones) then that would be great!
Congrats to the winners, the screenshots were amazing and I had a hard time picking what shows the pack off best, I will leave the others up in the second post for all to see and I hope that people will be continually taking screens for this pack and showing off what they make with it!

amazing how awesome artists like Gestankfaust and
XSSheep manage to keep up their texture packs
and build some great buildings in game.
And Hyp, that server seems awesome. Is that a courtyard, or
something of the sort?

I was really interested to see which screens of mine you liked best. I fully took all the screens just to help out, but it's always fun to see different opinions of stuff. I think I would have chosen the same one cause it shows so much on one screen (same as the other screens you chose).

@CowedOffACliff - I think Dorian means that, when you save the screen as whatever format/size, it's saving it so small. Are you using the F2 option from MC, or the "print screen" copy/paste way? Either way, if you are playing windowed, it will only allow the actual game screen to be saved (print screen does your desktop resolution "what you see" though). But if you switch to full screen in game before you take screens, they will end up the size of your desktop resolution.
