And now for a serious critique. I got the time to play around a bit (on short render distance. Hm.) and these are some things that I noticed.
I like the new glowstone. Colourful.
What's the netherrack meant to be?
I like the new tiling dirt. I was fine with the old one, but this one's nice too.
I like the highlights on the tall grass.
New rails look nice.
I noticed you put lines across the farmland blocks. I feel they stick out too much.
There's a shelf in the workbench :biggrin.gif:
It looks like there's plain black on the torches. I advise brightening this; it looks very "outline-y".
The subtle colours in the stone are really nice.

Plain black is actually charcoal, not a full black and it needs to stand out so its staying that way, sorry. I may do a better torch sometime.

in the third picture there are creepers. I should have punctuated that sentence better.
also its quality not quantity, most people will get a screen in so far, there is 6 screenshot spaces I wish to fill. 3 that dont make it might end up on my planet minecraft page :smile.gif:
Sadly I can't join the competition as my computer cannot handle the HD, but this just shows how amazing I think this work is, as although I cannot run it...I still love it!

Well, it's because my optifine is clashing with the MCPatcher, but...there is a way to get around it, which involves deleting my minecarft jar...but that's fine :3
with optifine you don't need the patcher, it does custom water and lava etc and it also fixes the HD glitches.
Yep. It also has a load of customizable options. It lets you set Fast or Fancy graphics settings on individual things,so you can get biome sidegrass on Fast. :happy.gif:
