i like the rails to a point. The only part i don't care for is the cross-like things coming out on both sides of the rails. It's creative, just not one of my favorite things iv'e seen. Keep it up though, the pack is all around looking pretty nice :tongue.gif:

I noticed you seem to have a fixation with spiders, so here:
It only has 4 legs, but that's all I could fit onto it without it looking strange.
Also, having ditched my bugged patcher+Optimine install for Optifine, I can now run this resolution decently. Yay!
(Still has lag-spikes, though...)
Now I can use 32x packs, I came here to use this one. I love it. Your ore textures, and wood planks, chest, workbenches and furnaces and wooden door in particular are amazing. I like the new rails, too.
My only complaint is thay yellow wool is rather too saturated and bright compared to the rest of it. (EDIT: At least here it is. Maybe it looks better elsewhere...)
Turn AdvancedOpenGL to fancy, and make sure Smooth FPS is turned on. :wink.gif:

I'm dreadfully sorry that I slinked off like I did for so long, but I've been back and have been working on it! I just haven't been around the forums that much lately. Anywho..
I LOVE your texture pack! It's so great to see something like this! I love the ornate styles and the dark feeling, exactly what I was going for in my own pack!

Squee! Well I'll start off by saying I *LOVE* the intricate designs of your pack! The Netherrack in particular is a favorite of mine! It looks like some sort of hideous substance of boils and blood and fleshy..stuff! It's great!
The stone is clean, yet has depth! It tiles so very nicely! I'm big on making sure things don't look "tiled", and since your stone has no real marks that could easily be seen as repeated when multiple stone blocks are placed near each other - it's great! I think you did a top job!
You have a very unique style that I can see repeated in each piece and it all ties together wonderfully! Your wood work is amazing! I love the texture. Once again, smooth yet detailed.
The iron door is BEAUTIFUL! (Squeee!) I love it!
One of the logs (the pine?) has some strange white and coral colored...things on it. Are they supposed to be like a type of fungus that grows on pine trees? Or just an unusual type of bark? If so, bravo for originality! But I think some people might not like the style since it's rather different. Perhaps offer a second texture for people to choose from if they're not so brave as to try something like that. :biggrin.gif: A lot of people use logs for buildings and such and they might be turned away by the coral/white-ness if it changes something on their server and makes it look strange or not what they had intended for it to look like.
The windows are brilliant! I can see this sort of gothic-y style coming out big time with the windows AND the ladder. A great, original idea for the ladder too!
Bwahah I have to say that I adore the Soul sand! It has little skullsies! That is a great addition that's very subtle but completely blows you away when you see it!
MEEEEP feedback, I love it. Also you are going to kill me... I am changing... nether... oops. ITs still a WIP but I will do more building-centric blocks and more hell-centric blocks at some point, at the moment I am going where it pleases me :smile.gif:
also yes an alternate pine is on the cards.
I assume to have a lot of alternates If I am happy with the quality, but not the block then I will change it and keep the older one.

yes its finally here, although the terrain is not 100% complete it is damn close and I still have another 2 versions before 1.0b to finish them. Here are some screens.

**** knows, heaps, I cannot remember it all so see for yourself. the only terrain blocks missing are redstone dust, spiderwebs, sponges and record players.
*i have not added an alternate download with the rustic items yet as I have not got the permission in a PM which I would like to have so I can cover my ass if **** goes down*
as always, thoughts, comments, disagreements and owls are welcome to be posted.

Curse PremiumMobs pissed me off when I was building it.
Every block of surface within 100 blocks of that house is lit lol...
Also ETA on the 0.8 update?
why does he just not turn mobs off? haha. or sleep the night away. I assume this server was just for building and showing things off :tongue.gif:
