Oh, something I forgot earlier-- I liked the hue of your wheat before. It feels a little too dark, a little too saturated, and a little too yellow now. I liked it when it was paler.
hmmm, yes I see that, but as this is used a lot on our server, I like having a very clear division as to when it is actually grown :smile.gif: You can edit the terrain if you use it and desaturate it slightly... but I think I shall leave it.
I was expecting some massive list to fall out of no where, but so far so good. I can start gearing up for 0.8
quick progress update on the pack before I reformat my computer.
thinner glass borders, Clay (I wanted this to look like the red clay we get in australia, I am fairly happy with it) Also tweaked gold and lapiz ore, and furnaces to be more 'illuminated' by the flame. (oh also a small tweak to sand)
see you in a few hours all.
Also feathers, I toned down wheat a little, you were right. So it is still yellow, just less saturated :smile.gif: *grumbles how you are always right*

I've always liked red clay in texture packs
It's more visible on the beach and red clay I would argue is far more common than gray clay just about anywhere
I've seen red/brown clay under the dirt all the time here in America but never seen gray clay outside of art class

I find grey clay to be...creepy. It is always wet when you find it naturally. Looks like zombie skin or something.
oops lol I missed this reply. Excellent, I am not big on gray clay either (being that in australia every bit of clay
I have seen in the wilderness is red)
I may add some more depth to it at some point, but its close to what I know in my head.
Done mate, sorry its a little... harsh? I didn't mean it to be. I am just pushing you to improve :smile.gif:
thanks for the compliment on the pack too.
Haha, no way. I really appreciated the comment. I am struggling to find a theme, suggestions maybe? I am trying to practice with lighting and depth to go for more of a realistic theme. I am striving to become a better artist, all the help, comments, and tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks for the links as well, 42 already linked me in skype before you though :tongue.gif:

no surprise there, he is pretty helpful like that. Definitely worth a read, and a practice with steelfeathers one just to get a handle on things. Best of luck mate.
Wow, clay looks great! I remember seeing some clay just like that somewhere although I can't remember exactly where... (Australia is too big with too many places! :tongue.gif:)
Anyways, the new textures look great, awesome work dorian! (especially that glass, I dunno, it just speaks to me.... No I'm not crazy...)

there is nothing wrong with being crazy, its just these spiders under my flesh keep telling me to eat meat. *runs away screaming while pulling skin off his arms*

About the only thing I could say for criticism is that I think the window borders are a bit thick.

EDIT- also what are those giant green things?
Window borders, I will thin it and see what I think. If not I will probably get around to doing and alternate sometime :smile.gif:
