On another note, everyone is suffering with maintaining work.
Unemployment is everywhere and it's affecting everyone. Especially
in the US. Here in New York, it's hit everyone especially hard. While
not as much on the Island, it's not good, just not good.

Night mate, I look forward to the review. feel free to include screens :wink.gif: I am sick of looking at my own buildings.
I'll have screens prolly tomorrow. But have one little tiny thing that seems not to fit. The breaking animation is too black, Looks almost cartoony compared to the rest of the pack. Maybe make it a tad translucent to it takes on the characteristics of the block it's on.
Just a thought before I go ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

I've seen good dark themed texture packs and I've seen unique dark themed texture packs. This one, however, is the only pack I've seen that is both.

Permission to upload a video showing off the changes between each block (from .7 -.8) I'd set it to unlisted in hopes that no one but this thread could see it.

I have absolutely no complaints about this pack so far....except that the gravel almost looks the same as dirt when viewing the inventory. Up close it's easier'ish to tell. Maybe a more grey hue to the gravel would help (I thought dirt was falling on me at first :biggrin.gif:). I built almost everything today in those picks up there (cleared the space the last two days, but built today)

yes you are correct about the gravel, I will look into that, more variance in the stones in it I think and the colour.
Also those buildings are amazing gest, I would love to see more of your work. I must get 0.8 done *runs to find the god of art and steal his soul*

I do have one suggestion as well, mossy cobble to me is well... more mossier, in the sense it usually covers it from edge to edge instead of unnaturally staying in the center of an odd block shaped rock. :tongue.gif:

Also I am glad you only showed the lava in a single stream, it tiles horribly and is very much only a temporary thing.
Honestly I'd rather you not put the video up there... its not that great and was just made to kind of show some of difference between the blocks. The one thats up is better suited for showing off the pack.
For feedback:
What I like:
The new sand. It looks great. Its much richer than the older style, it also has a much more dry, depleted look than the other sand so I feel it fits well.
Ores Blocks. I like them (although I never use ore blocks for anything). They have a nice style to them and fit the pack well.
Wheat. Much more of a harvest type look. Nice and lean and also more golden. I feel like it is more suited for this time of year... even though it has nothing to do with the pack :tongue.gif:
Meh:
Glowstone. It looks really good... however I just don't feel like it works with the pack. It is perfect for cathedrals or churchs but not for everyday building. I feel like its more of a niche type texture.
Mossy cobblestone:
Never cared for this "doku" type look for mossy cobble. But the newer version just seems a bit too light for my taste. It looks much crisper than the older version, however I just wish it was a tad darker.
