im sorry this is my first texture pack download and im lost, i am doing the aethen download, i have the aethen mod installed correctly and have started a game with it. so i have put the texture pack in the folder, i tried it ran hd patcher with all options selected (very good pc, itll run it without a problem). but after logging in, selecting the grey picture in texture pack than i started the my already saved game, didnt work, i looked again, and i tried copying armor and aether to minecraft, but its not a file, so it copied to the bin file, same thing happenned, i tried starting a new game with it, but when i start the new game it doesnt even have aethen alone in it. so i just need to know what i did wrong, also (and sorry for asking so much) but if anyone could help, when i destroy glowstonein my saved game (even before i had even seen the texture pack online) it wont give any dust,i tried restarting, and then not only did it not help, then when i destroyed nether rock it gave nothing.
i found out how to put it in the jar file, and i did it, do i still keep the one in the texture pack? but still eithr way its not workin for me :sad.gif:

dude its not a big deal to install the texture packs...make sure your minecraft is clean and follow these steps
1.Install HD Patcher (simply press patch thats it)
2.Download My texture pack and put it into the texture pack folder (to find the folder go into minecraft and click on "mods and texture packs" and there select "Open texture pack folder") DO NOT EXTRACT THE ZIP FILE... just leave my ZIP in the texture pack folder thats it
3.If you want aether textures open the minecraft.jar with winrar archiver and put the folders in "ravands_aether.zip" into the minecraft.jar
4.select my texture pack in minecraft and that should be all

I loved the Me Gusta face in the pumpkin haha xD. All i can say is that it looks more like a 128 than a 64. (Intended as a compliment :wink.gif:) Anyway, i will dl straight away.

EDIT: I tried to log on to a server and it just crashed... is it because of the new world preview on the Aether, or is it because it's not compatable with Aether 1.02?

This looks good, but there are HUGE tiling issues. Almost all the blocks have tiling issues... Grass, dirt, smoothstone, cobblestone, sand, all have very noticeable tiling issues that make them look bad from a distance.

these textures are not drawn by hand...its nearly impossible to achieve perfect tiling even from a huge distance on such low resolution textres which have been taken by a camera... what i still wanted to do is refining some of the tiles because imo there are some textures i made very roughly
