I love these graphics, and I would love to have them in my game, but you need to make an option to download the .zip by itself. Not only does the 1-click Installer registers in my anti-virus programs, but it interferes with any mods I have already installed. I would very much like to try out the 256x, 128x, and the 64x.
I love this pack! It to me is better than every texture pack put together! And to proove it, here is one of my creations I made specifically for this pack:
Problem: I can't use it anymore! It is updated with an exe installer. I let it go through my antivirus, and it wants to download a screen saver software. I don't want to, and there is no decline button. I press the "x" and it gives me the option to continue or cancel. Continue does nothing, cancel closes the installer. The only option is to agree to install.
After fifty bajillion "I paid the creator of this installer to advertise my useless crap because it is not good enough to survive on it's own and I am a nightmare for computer repairs people," declines, it installs the screen saver software. Then nothing.... Just nothing.. The installer won't continue with installing the ravands texture pack and I have a piece of software I don't want.
Your fans know how to install texture packs, your fans know how to install optifine. I already have optifine so the exe is useless.
I want to give you all my praise! But I cant because of this stupid exe!
Tell me if I am doing anything wrong:
Run installer > Next > advanced tick > untick data toolbar > next > decline > cancel > decline tick > next > do not accept tick > Proceeds to install waterfall screen saver using regnow downloader > Ravands texture pack is nowhere to be found.. It is not installed, it doesn't say it was installed anywhere, the installer wont continue past this point because there is no continuie button to be found.
What's with the download going through 2 redirected ad pages, then an exe instead of a folder that 2 anti-virus software's claim is malicious? Such a disappointment, as this looks like a really nice texture pack. I HOPE someone redistributes your work without having to go through 2 ad pages and a virus, as your current setup just makes you seem like a greedy loser.
The 16x16 ZIP from the first post in this thread worked fine for me I just dragged it right in resource packs and loaded it ingame, but I don't understand why the PlanetMinecraft download is and exe instead of the ZIP offered in this thread, not to mention that TR/Crypt.ULPM.Gen had been detected in by 3 people in this thread now.

Your PlanetMinecraft download links are way out of date, as are the stupid pointless "installers" you actually went to the trouble to create, along with all the bloatware crap you felt the need to include as optional installs...
Seriously, you created a texture pack, it doesn't NEED to be installed. Just link to the damn ZIP's and tell your users to drop them in the right folder. The game even tells you where this folder is, there is a nice button in the GUI to open it within the game! Do you really think your users are so stupid that they need an installer?
I can forgive linking to your pack via an ad-based URL shortener, that's fine... but when you do that, then make the user download a piece of worthless crap that you have to click through for another minute, then pop up a browser window with a URL that is now dead, and then you find that the pack hasn't even been installed, it makes you question what the hell is wrong with the creator, if he's taking the p*ss or something, or if you're really that dumb.
Sort your life out.
You didn't understand the main purpose of the installer.
1. It puts the texturepack into your faulder automatically sets it to your chosen texturepack.
2. It installs optifine automatically which is very important for my connected textures usage (many people just ignore that fact)
3. Once you have the installer you can update my texture pack with it again without redownloading the zip or the installer.
SO everything you have to do is disable the optional toolbars its not really a big hasstle as you describe it and the installer highly supports me and my work so stop crying about it and stop sounding like a spoiled brat. Either you want my texture pack or you don't.
ERGO: Using the installer is easier and handier than installing the pack and the mod manually
EDIT: If the installer hasn't installed the pack in the past 2 days that was because our download servers were down.
Sorry dude, but your installer is just a virus, and you are allowing your work to be used as a hacking tool, i TRIED installing your "software" and the installer put in several programs all in which hacked my internet explorer and firefox going tru certain webpage link (any that is using this installer can google each of the programs the installer forces you to use and see those aren't reliable) i had to reset my firefox for the first time to remove the thread.

As i said before the main reason why i am using this installer is, that this texture pack uses alot of texture material that isn't visible if you neither have Optifine nor McPatcher installed (Maybe you don't know this either otherwise you would see the point of the installer). The installer installs Optifine for you without going through the hasstle of doing it urself manually (it became a little harder with the new 1.6 launcher). This saves time on behalf of the texture pack user AND like this i can make sure that everyone is seeing the texture pack as it is intended to look that means the following:
