Well guys, I am pretty new to HD texture packs (making them not using them XD)
anyways I decided to use the default texture patters, with my own HD flair thrown in!
So Far I have the grass, torches, redstone torches, and sugarcane done!

I dont want to sound harsh but HD refers to more realistic and includes more detail. Bumping the resolution and adding grain does not make something hd. Please keep that in mind. Again I dont want to sound harsh just wanted to point out an important fact

I realise this, I am trying to stick to minecraft's normal texture to keep it blocky. If you try to add too much realism, It doesn't seem like minecraft.

I realise this, I am trying to stick to minecraft's normal texture to keep it blocky. If you try to add too much realism, It doesn't seem like minecraft.
Have a look at Faithful 32x, that texturepack pulled it off perfectly!
