Okay my desktop pc is broken and now I am stuck with this shitty laptop. I am too lazy to get .net framework for Paint.net, so I am using MS Paint. I also think there may be editors with easier color seleftion than Paint.net
.
Thanks for the feedback. I only edit non-transparent textures with MS Paint and I plan to later paste them on another terrain.PNG with PDN. I have had PDN and Photoshop for a while but are they for for pixel art? This is the first time I am doing pixel art and it is such a pain trying to find the colors I want I often Google the object I am trying to draw just to get the colors!

Any 'art program' can do pixel art, photoshop being no different. When it comes to pixel art, no one program is 'better' then the other as it relies on your skill on color selection and pixel placement.
I can make the same thing in the same amount of time in photoshop that I can in mspaint.
You can try looking up pallet packs for photoshop, theres a lot to chose from or just the color selector. Also you have tools that can edit the colors and looks once there laid out. Is what you did to bright? Image>Adjustments>All the tools you need.
