I have been using Candycraft since you posted your version. I love this texture pack and use it regularly.
I downloaded the texture pack and currently have 1.7, but i'm not sure if it is updated or if there was an update or how I even update the pack... so is there an updated version I am missing? Also, I love those swirly blue (Aether blocks I think) and I want them. Are those blocks in an updated version or are they a work-in-progress?

The pack on my thread is updated t 1.7 and is mostly compatible (except for the wolves). So you are using the correct version. The aether blocks are in the default download, but they aren't complete yet. If you do a bit of editing you can take the aether blocks and set them as the default grass blocks.
I am gearing up for the 1.8/1.9 update (Notch said the Adventure update will be released in two separate parts), so candycraft will be compatible very soon after release. I am setting the HD pack aside for now, because I have more important things to do now-a-days. :biggrin.gif:
The endermen look hilarious, in my sketches, and I can't wait to add them to the pack.

Nice job! I think you should make the chickens chocolate bunnies! Just because it fits with candy craft, and considering it's Minecraft, I think chocolate chickens will do just fine. :3

I can't figure out what that flan with the face in the alternate textures is supposed to be. I thought it was a pumpkin, but the textures don't match up right
Actually, I have no idea what those blocks are. I thought they were pumpkins without the jack-o-lantern face. :/. Also, Nighthaunt is back! He will be taking over the pack again, so this is a good-bye. This was super fun, while it lasted, and I can't wait to see what he does in the future. :biggrin.gif:

I'm back with the adventurecraft update coming out. I haven't played minecraft that much since I left, but with this new content coming out I'm excited to be playing again. I have started working on some new textures and improving old ones for Candycraft. As far as the Aether goes, I will likely leave that for themarsh, I sort of like the idea of the aether not being like candy, so I might try doing a regular style texture set for that. I think it might be a cool way of being able to mix more normal looking environments with candycraft. Currently I'm trying to work to make trees feel better. as it is pines must be green since the biome images cannot be changed for them. So I've worked out a new leaf texture for it and made the wood green candycane. I have a lot of improvements planed to make the pack more uniform and less of the eye sore it can be at times.
I'm not sure exactly how long it will take me to get all the textures ready. I'm trying to work out what some of the new textures are as well. Hopefully I will have things ready by or soon after 1.8 is officially released.
