I really don't see the point. There are a few Gerudoku remix packs, and Doku is working on his RPG pack. Unless you're going to redo a significant amount, I doubt you'll really bring anything new to the table. Also, I've seen some of the textures of that 128x version, and those are really well done. I don't see where you can get off saying they're not, and that no effort was put into them.
As i said prior to this post the 32x gerudoku remixes are not of best quality, the packs themselves lose there feel to them with each minecraft update that brings new items and textures - yo uwill notice this in the true gerudoku texture pack that currently exists (the rails and pistons look like the belong to a 16X16 texture pack).
I have also seen a 128x version of gerudoku that looks of very good quality but once again new textures feel very out of place within the pack (i noticed this pack on the "minecraft customizer" website. The textures are also complete copies from the current gerudoku that need small tweaks to increase the quality of the pack

The 128x textures I saw were actually very well made. I think they blended even better than the Gerudoku remix.
Also, If you're saying that you're going to overhaul the textures then it wouldn't be Gerudoku anymore which is sort of going against what you are trying to do in keeping the pack alive with well made textures for pistons and whatnot.
If you're doing as much to the textures as you say, why not start a new pack?
why do you make a thread with a poll, just to hype the people, start arguments about it, if you could just start the pack? Then we will see if its as good as you claim.

If i was to start a new pack Gerudoku would be sure to eventually lose its name, when i say ima going to overhaul gerudoku i mean it in a sense of that i am going to hype up and increase the the details of the textures and such that exist. My aim is to not let gerudoku die!

If i got a very negative response in the poll i would not be at all interested in developing gerudoku, hence the reason i created it. Seeing as the votes are in favour i will continue with my obligations and develop the pack :smile.gif:
We now have DokuCraft, the only reason GeruDoku was made was because Doku stopped making Doku RPG, we now have a new, fresher, better version, and these tons of damned remixes can go to hell!
As i said from the start, gerudoku has strayed from the state of a remix texture pack and has become an individual by itself. This pack is and was very widely used and is still very much implemented by "the yogscast"; hence my reasons to continue it :biggrin.gif:
It might have, it's just another frankenpack to me though, it's made out of loads of other texture packs, tombones didn't make any textures himself!
He only edited them a little.
It may seem that way to you, but to a great deal of others this texture pack is a great one - if you cant appreciate this thats up to you :smile.gif:
Now that i think of it, its not the name that needs to be kept its the textures and feel of the pack!
Really, i believe it would be useless to title the pack as gerudoku - the pack will need a new name; suggestions are warmly welcome :biggrin.gif:
Something along the lines of Doku Revived or such as....
Seeing as Gerudoku was the first remix of Doku RPG i will still either leave it in the title with brackets or in the description; this is for the sake of those gerudoku supporters out there - i wouldn't want you getting confused :biggrin.gif:
As i have already said atleast twice throughout this topic, as each minecraft update is released and new texturs come out this pack loses its quality - you will notice his rails and pistons look extremely out of place :sad.gif:
I find it funny that you aren't interested in this pack when the pack you follow (in your banner) uses alot of gerudoku's textures :biggrin.gif:
Texture pack ? It's the server i play on...
And i didn't say i don't like Gerudoku it was good, but not anymore,i'm against because you would increase it's resolution...
And even though people say they are doing it in Tombones's style, each update it looks less and less like when he updated the pack with his textures.
Jadoku is good,but it's not Gerudoku anymore :/ ...

Thankyou very much friend, i did not know this pack existed!
This texture pack fully implements dokus old textures and still keeps its original feel with the rails and pistons that exist within it!
I believe it is no longer necessary to continue rambling on as i have, please everyone! - check out jadoku here http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/131024-32x172-jadoku-17-supportv2030611-now-uses-minecraft-texture-customizer/page__hl__jadoku
