i'd say let it die. it had it's fame and glory and all that for a long time.
support new fresh stuff instead!
How could you :0
Gerudoku is what made minecraft (in my opinion) special, it geave the first feeling of a good rpg feel to the game!
We cant just let it die :sad.gif:
I know some people have their opinions on the resolution of texture packs, and you my friend sound like one for the default res. But really most people seem to love the HD ones more :smile.gif:
Just a while ago i started watched yogscast (i know....iknow :wink.gif:), watching their series and seeing those old retro doku textures made me think; i really missed them. This thought grew and i was annoyed to find the pack discontinued. I thought to myself after this predicament - that i should bring gerudoku back for the sake of those who felt and still feel that feeling of envy when watching simon and lewis playing within a great rpg texture pack!
The head mod on the server I help moderate edits Gerudoku to his liking, and most of our players really enjoy it, and it's favored throughout the server. He needs to update it for 7.3 but PM me to find out where to get the DL link.
I am indifferent, if people like a texture pack, let them use it, but I personally don't like it, mostly because how overused it is.
That makes a lot of sense, however this seems to be true with most popular texture packs. In most videos i either see doku's, jhon smith's, joli's or scuttle's texture pack.

It's way too overused. Everyone's moved on from GeruDoku and moved to JohnSmith. Let GeruDoku die, let JohnSmith have it's run, then let it die. That's all there is to it, if you still want to use it, be my guest. You don't need to start an uprising. :tongue.gif:

But at its core Minecraft ISN'T an RPG game. Gerudoku may die, the RPG-mods in MC may cease to be updated, but MineCraft will carry on because it isn't an RPG.

An uprising is not what i'm aiming at. When im finished wth it gerudoku will have a whole new look. There is no point in letting a texture pack die when it hasnt reached the best of its capabilities

While I'm not to bothered by the default texture, I always did favor Geru over pretty much anything else.
As did i :smile.gif:

I agree,
and IMO i think that packs that are higher than 32x only make the game uglier,
they don't really fit with the game's idea...
I dont believe this is true
Personally i put a cap on 64X64 - this is why Example
Suck it
Thankyou! Some support!

I find it funny that you aren't interested in this pack when the pack you follow (in your banner) uses alot of gerudoku's textures :biggrin.gif:
