I knew the redstone shape was reminding me of something but couldn't think what... now I know lol
The sign was just the plank texture slapped on as a temporary fix. Pumpkin is in the same state but they're both in the queue :smile.gif:
been toying with a proper cobble cobblestone texture today. I'm thinking this may be the way to go if we're getting proper stone bricks in 1.8 :smile.gif:
-pic-
I really like that a lot more than the autobrick cobblestone.
Also, might I suggest changing the netherrack texture to something other than brick? I think natural blocks should have a natural look. :biggrin.gif:
I'll do a new release this weekend containing the stuff I've done this week:
Cobblestone
Mossy Cobblestone
Torch flames
Signs
A few tweaks to the dirt tiling
Sapling colour
and anything else I get finished before then :smile.gif:
This texture pack is the true spirit of Minecraft, in HD ^^
Maybe it's just me nitpicking, but the gap between planks seem quite contrasting, it's annoying my eye when I look to the icon in my toolbar, and also abit when I place them. Otherwise, this pack is definetely the best I've seen so far, thumbs up! :3
EDIT: Just read through the past two pages of the thread, and noticed your new cobblestone texture, it's very great! Hope to see it before I go play D&D tomorrow!
That's exactly the feel I was going for :smile.gif:
First post has been updated with new download links for v1.1 which includes the new cobblestone :smile.gif:
New textures look good. The only change I'm not sure on is the ice, it's a bit too blue and not transparent enough, IMO. It makes the pixel-reflection-thing (diagonal boxes) really stand out.

Good spot Spruu :/
I'd left the original MC ice texture underneath. v1.2 is uploaded and updated in the first post now.
I really like the new torch flame, although it's a slight bit too big for my taste, perhaps you could reduce the static flame on the torch for a better result? - I dunno
The new cobblestone is great too, just a question though, is there mossy and nether versions of it too? (Haven't found a dungeon in my new world dedicated to this texture pack, and I rarely mess about with nether portals)
Hey Jerry, You can see the mossy cobblestone on the last screenshot. I kept it quite subtle so you can mix the mossy and non mossy without them looking out of place next to each other.
3.Does it have CTM support? (Does it have the CTM textures?)
Not familiar with this mod or how it connects the textures. looks like it stretches the single chest top which I cant see the benefit of on a HD pack? Same with the glass I'm not sure if it just stretches the texture to hide the edges? Probably best to give it a go and see how it looks.
Hello!
I wanted to tell you, I'm really a fan of your texture pack!
After that, I really hope that there will be changes in inventory and items because there are plenty more than that so that your pack is perfect!
(sorry if there are mistakes but I am French and translators are sometimes strange in the translation xD)
Hey Sniperdoom,
No plans at the moment to change items and inventory. i'm pretty busy with work at them moment so any big updates like that would probably be way in the future. the gui elements are separate from the terrain so maybe you could mix with another pack that you like for now :smile.gif:
Inska Oh, please tell me how do you take for example, the appearance of the arms of another pack, but while keeping your texture pack?
I really want to change the weapons because it is true that it's annoying ...
If you unzip both texture packs you'll see a list of folders and image files. Just copy over everything from my unzipped files into the other unzipped files. Here's the important bit: when you re-zip everything don't select the top folder to compress select all the files within that folder and compress as a .zip instead. You can then use you're new .zip as you do a normal texture pack :smile.gif:
minecraft freezes up when i install this texture pack
any suggestions
It's probably not the texture pack but the patch gone wrong. Make sure you're using the HD PATCHER to patch minecraft to allow you to use HD textures first.
Hey Ianska, I was wondering if you'd consider either adding support for Wild Grass or at least providing us some alternate plant textures you may have that we could add in ourselves? I think in total the mod uses 7 new grasses (one is a double texture, 1x2, so you could say 8) along with a lilypad, vine, and six new flower/mini cacti textures. Do you have any lying around that might go well with the pack? (P.S. bump)

The only problem I have is that it's a little bright for my tastes, but that's just a personal opinion. I'll be using it for the foreseeable future!

And here's a shot of the Netherrack :smile.gif:
I don't have specific bump textures made. Would depend on the mod if it generates fake bumps on the fly or needs a specific texture.
Sure no problem :smile.gif:

Fix for this is in the next update :smile.gif:
Not sure what you mean here? maybe a screen shot would help.
