Go to start on the bottom left corner of your screen and type in %appdata% It then should come up with a file named ".minecraft". Inside of that is a folder called "bin" which you need to open. Inside of "bin" is a file called "minecraft". Right click that and click open with, open it using either "7 zip" or "winwar". Highlight every file inside of the "minecraft" file and move it to desktop. It should open with a little box and inside the box it says "Extract minecraft/desktop" (or something similar to that) click that and you should get a new folder on your desktop. Just open the folder and the rest shall be easy to understand. Good Luck!
