First off: I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this question but i've tried posting this in the support-forum (and here again sry for opening the same thread twice) with the only result that it got swept to the secound page within a few minutes and will probably never be looked at again. Since its completly texturpack related i guess there are more people around here who might help me than in the support forum.
I have created a 64x64 texturepack for my server and works perfectly fine for me and some of the players with better PCs. The problem starts with players who PCs aren't that good. Their minecraft just crashes and they can't even open it again unleast they take the texturepack out of the texturpack folder.
At first i thought "well, their PC just isn't fit for High-Res texturepacks" but later i found out that they could use other texturepacks with the same res (like misas for example) without any problems.
So i'm asking, what could be the cause of this and how can i fix it?
It could probably be the different colors. I also had that problem but it's because I have a bad computer. XD It isn't much of a problem when the Optimine mod is installed though. That's the only way I'm able to play comfortably with a 32x32 texture pack with my laggy computer. Unfortunatly Optimine and Optifog(Which basically makes Minecraft faster and smoother and stuff) isn't updated for 1.7.2. -.- Anyways I hoped this helped a bit.

@Ybone: Yep, at least so it seems. Maybe there is a drop in the fps but its not remarkably different to the default texturepack. On the other hand the players with a less good PC can't even get into the game without minecraft blacksrceening.
I would rather not upload my texturpack since most of it is a remix of other texturepacks and by now i have pretty much lost sight of whos texturepacks i used and need to give credit to. I'll just send you the download-link per PM if you don't mind.
@NormalRarity: Thanks. I'll keep that in mind if i can't find a better solution. It's just a little to much to ask the players to use a Mod just to be able to use my texturepack where they can use any other with the same res just as well without it.
