i really didnt wanted to post a topic asking this, but i just cant figure it out or find any tutorials or videos explaining how to do this, i know how to edit a texture pack but something i really want to edit is the Fire text, it is not within the terrain.png i searched all of minecraft.jar and i dont find any folders that hold the sprites of the fire, using a base model from another texture that include a screen shot of the editted fire, i have two files named "custom_fire_e_w" my only guess is that i may need the HD texture mod to get that file to work, but is this really neccesary for a 16x texture pack?
any help would be appreciated thank you for reading :3
thank you both kindly for telling me this, i wasnt really sure if i did needed the HD patcher, i guess that is all mods if you read this, you can close or delet this topic, unless i find a way to do it :3 thanks again ybone and lolozietto i gave you two thumbs up 8D
