This is my personal texture pack that I made so everything could look the way I liked. While almost every texture is this pack is derived from one from another pack, most have been altered in some way. 7/3/11-v2-Fixed sword and armor textures, new glowstone texture
7/4/11-v3-Made wood less orange, changed piston base, changed jukebox, colored clay.
7/6/11-v4-Slight changes to cobblestone and glowstone, added bricks to marble, new clay item texture, changed iron door, new inventory gui, new background.
7/9/11-v5-Darkened bedrock, changed powered and detector tracks, changed white wool, changed gold shovel and pick, added arrow to compass, changed inv gui, new mob from JohnSmith.
7/11/11-v6-Changed iron, coal, lapis, and diamond ores, changed diamond axe, fixed clay item texture.

Run MCPatcher. Make sure that both HD Textures and HD Font are checked. Click patch, then close MCPatcher.
Go to Finder->Your Name->Library->Application Support->minecraft->texturepacks.
Drag the Bob's Pack.zip file into the texturepacks folder WITHOUT UNZIPPING the file.
Open Minecraft, go to the Mods and Texture Packs menu, select Bob's Pack.zip, and you're done!

Just download that .txt file, go to your profile on the forums, click edit my profile, then click Change Signature. Copy and paste the text in the file into the box there and click Save Changes. [goto=top]Back To Top[/goto]
I'm not going to be so harsh, because you say you have put some of your own work into this, but did you get permission from the original creators?...
EDIT: I see the thing at the top of the thread, but permission is a must for any pack using others' work.
I have not gotten specific permission as none of the creators have asked to not have their textures used. I'm just trying to help the community, not steal their credit.

It's good that you're giving credit. :smile.gif: However, if they also haven't given permission for people to use their textures in remixes, I believe you really should get actual permission from each artist prior to distributing their work in a remix.

I certainly do not need permission form the ones that say that you don't need permission. As for the others, I will contact them to get permission.

No need to get grouchy. If an artist states people can freely use his work in remixes in his post, then that is all the permission you need. I was just making sure you were aware that if they haven't made any statement for OR against the use of their textures in remixes, then you need to get permission directly prior to uploading the textures yourself.
I'd hate to see a mod lock your thread, as you HAVE done a good job on giving credit. It's nice to see. :smile.gif:

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to seem angry. Rhodox and JohnSmith have said that permission is not requied, Koolwitak's forum page clearly shows that he doesn't require permission, I have gotten permission from Scuttles, and Karliiee has yet to respond to my request. I'm sorry I didn't get permission first, but the problem is nearly resolved.
Pretty cool, but are those really painterly pack things in the terrain.png They don't look like painterly, and it's 32x, but whatever it is, it looks cool.
I think at this point the only thing from painterly is the gravel and mob.
EDIT: Nevermind, there are otheer things that don't really stand out as 16x.
