Hello, I am Evan and I love working with graphics and would really like to get in to texture pack making.
I have a couple of questions that I could not find in the tutorials section or on the wiki.
*Does a .ZIPed texture pack need to be completed? Or could you just have a few parts of the pack (say the terrain and items) and have minecraft.jar compensate for the rest of the missing files?
*How would I go about starting a HD texture pack from scratch without a base?
*Is there a download for a 32x32 texture pack base that uses all of the original textures (for a canvas)?
--- I know these are very simple questions but I believe I have the potential to be a decent pack maker in the community and would really just love to get started. Any help that any of you could contribute would be lovely. :smile.gif:
So far I have only made one part of the texture pack that I am working on. The picture is below.
Okay, now I'm done. Just downloading dropbox so I can upload it, I left out the logo(s).
Sorry for the wait, it was more work than I thought. Had to stop it from becoming blurry.

It's fine man, im just thankful you did it :biggrin.gif:
Okay, Here it is: Default 32x
This is only an upscaled version of the default textures, ask the creator of the Faithful pack for HD versions if you need them.

Thank you,

2. You simply resize the default textures, if you want me to I can do it for you.
3. Resize the default textures, just double the pixels.
If you need to know anything else just ask.

No sir, that just about does it. Thank you very much for your time and I hope to see you around.

EDIT: If you want to do that (refering to #2.) you may if you wish. I have an awful time compressing textures into .ZIP format.
