looking good... would say I'll give it a run and post some feedback... but I already have a list...lol I'm so into working on my new pack I haven't taken much time to check anyone elses out. :sad.gif: I will however keep an eye on this thread. keep up the great work!

It's good to hear from you Grugsy, I look forward to seeing your feedback. Haha, please, take your time, there is no hurry. Thanks again!
P.S. Ironically, yesterday I got the most views on my texture than I have any other day since it has been up! (150+ Downloads in one day!) Thanks very much everyone!
at last I checked out the new version of your TP. My computer is so laggy that I always have to switch back to a 16x16 TP to be able to build anything in a sensible time. HD texture packs are only for watching it when it's ready.
But just now I watched your TP in the testmaps recommended in this thread.
Do you know Tyken's Testmap?
It's really great, great, great for checking out texture packs. (It now looks much better than on his screenshots.)
I marvelled at your art choice (Perfect for the rainforest theme! Except maybe that chinese or japanese wave picture - that doesn't fit in completely. It's not completely out of place either but ... well ...) and again at your furnace / dispenser / piston. I really love these.*
My trip into the Nether (in copperdomebodha's Texturepack Test Track) was exceedingly impressive too. It reminded me of a vampire movie. Bloooooodyyyyyyy.....
And of course the soul sand... Perfect!
But (and here it comes...): Would you please think of redoing your diamond block? It doesn't fit in. The colour and structure is too cool/modern. And this greenish-blue does not appear anywhere else in your texture pack. (Ok, it does. In the light blue and cyan wool. But apart from that...) The diamond block looks alien among the others.
And what I also notice is: Some of your blocks look overgrown, mouldy and rusty, others on the opposite look shiny, new and neat. (Compare chest to trapdoor for expample.)
Did you make a difference between things that usually stand inside and things that are mostly outside?
Last, your pumpkin. I once placed one on a higher spot in my garden and some time later I wondered what a weird thing that might be up there.
The upper side is great but when you look at it from the side it looks like made from plastic.
What do you think of making the - uh - furrows (?) not exactly straight but with a slight wave/jitter? (Sorry, English isn't my native tongue. It's hard to find the right words.)
Or you could make more furrows with different spaces between them, like here.
Oh, and the face is hardly recognizable as one when the pumpkin doesn't glow. But it looks good on the jack-o-lantern.
Of course I'm complaining on a very high level here. You're artwork is fantastic so please don't think I only have things to critisize.
Furthermore: I'm sorry that I mostly pointed out things on the part you actually had already finished. But these testmaps gave me occasion to look at all of them again and very detailed.
When I go back into my main map I'll check out the Biomes. There were none in the test maps (naturally since the display space was not big enough).
I'm really looking forward to the items. Especially boats and minecarts. Will the boats still have bark on them?
Keep up your good work. And have some :GoldBar::Diamond::GoldBar: and a nice day. (I suppose it's day where you live since we have deepest night here.)
* I would like to ask you for a favour. I have this mod by pfaeff and wondered whether you would be willing to make a texture for the allocator that matches your furnaces / dispensers / pistons.
If you do than thank you very much in advance.

Thanks for your (huge) feedback! I'll take everything you said into consideration. For the diamond blocks, I don't have many other ideas for it, so if you could help me out, that would be great. Maybe make it look more jagged, and change the colour?
Also, I understand about the rusty and the elegant parts. I found it strange, too, but it seemed to work. I could work on the chest, and have these elegant ones as an alternative? I really need to figure out how to make a customiser. The workbench, however, I don't think I will change, as I have gotten quite a lot of positive feedback for it, and I think it looks nice :wink.gif:
For the pumpkin, I'll give a go at changing it; the reason it only has one line on the side is due to the fact that it lines up with the top. I can work on the face too, maybe the whole face will be redone. For now I am focusing on water and lava.
Currently, I am not too concerned with mods; once I have nearly completed the texture then mods will be put into place. I apologise for the inconvenience, but I want to finish the main part before I move onto the extras :wink.gif:

Sorry it took me so long to answer.
Yes, I also thought, more jagged would be good. A bit like a raw diamond.
You should keep the color scheme of your diamond ore, because there it looks good, and only make it lighter. I mean, make it mostly in that light greenish-blue and white and have only small bits of the darker greenish-blue. The ratio of the two colours in you diamond ore is perfect. Maybe you should take that as an example.
Oh and your unfacetteted diamond in the "alternatives"-file looks better. Plus the small rim makes it more similar to the lapis and iron blocks. I recommend using this design.

The chest and the workbench match each other so well that it would be pointless to change one and leave the other. Maybe after you finished the pack you could think of making a "decayed" version of the furniture with more rust and moss and offer this as an alternative.
Hopefully you've found a customizer until then. (You could try out this one.)

That's understandable. Maybe you think about it again when your pack is finished.
Hey everyone, just thought I would let you all know I'm working on a customiser; just figuring everything out right now.
Good luck on the customizer.
And have you updated the wheat? I have forgotten if that wheat is yours or Faithful's. Just so you know, second most boring part of making the pack next to wool.
Haha, thank you, I thought the banner came out nicely.
And cool, I'd like to see it.
I'm not at home currently but when I'm back (in one and a half days), I'll make a few screenshots.
Unfortunately it's only the normal (low) resolution. Maybe, if you like it, you can tell me what is necessary to create a skin in higher resolution and I could try to make such a version of it that you can offer together with your texture pack if people would like to have a matching char-look.
I don't know whether I'm any good at it though. I quite like my skin but making one in low resolution is not so very challenging. We'll see.

Ok I was kind enough to wait for 5 seconds (now give me a cookie).
Anyway the pack is really i mean REALLY good, can't wait till it's completed.
PS.If i find something ( a bug or something weird i'll post it)
Keep it up.
Thanks for waiting through adf.ly :smile.gif: Thanks very much for the support, it's great to have followers :smile.gif:

Did you do that gravel yourself? It is MILES better than the original minecraft gravel.
Just felt like throwing that in there.
to the download link, away.

Actually, my brother did it for me, as I was having trouble with it. It came out lovely.
Thank you :smile.gif:

Well... "Nice new banner!"
Or... "Btw I made me a skin in jungle look."

Just curious, how many dl's? Still close to 3200 or is it at like 3700 now?
