Hi, I have downloaded you texture pack (even via the flyad-link) and tried it.
At first I was not sure about these glowstone blocks - I feared they might mess up the appearence of the lanterns in my garden, but they didn't. Instead they look surprisingly nice.
And: I LOVE THE WAY MY GLASS HOUSE AND GARDEN TURNED OUT!!! Great work!!!
Now my garden really looks like a garden and not like an accident in a LEGO factory anymore.
The mushrooms and flowers are just gorgeous! So is the sugar cane.
You really have a knack of making plant-like things. Wow!
My glass house looks much better too. Especially with that lil' piggy on top :wink.gif: which unfortunately jumped into the waterfall a few seconds later and drowned :sad.gif: (That's why I'm holding meat in the second picture.)
Here I have some screenshots:
(hidden for those who prefer faster loading times and are not interested in the pics)
The last picture shows something that is obviously messed up or not finished yet. Actually I put netherrack on this stone platform and set it on fire to have light. But as you see it looks terrible. Just want to point this out.
What I don't like is the stone. It looks too "fuzzy". I always feel as if I had a blurred vision when I look at the walls. Until now I used the texture pack "LAR Games TP" and I quite like the way they made stone, sandstone and sand there. Especially the sand, it looks great.
I made you a screen shot so you can see what I mean and maybe use it for inspiration. I have to mention that the textures look best on a wider area with good light.
Of course it would be best if you checked out the TP yourself.
I especially want to compliment you on your crafting table. It's the best I've ever seen.

Keep it up. You are doing good work. Thank you!
Thanks very much for your informative post. I'm considering changing the flowers and wildgrass a little bit, adding a bit more detail. I actually made 4 beta smooth stones, I could put it into the ALTERNATES images if you like. It's just this was the most detailed one I could make while still keeping a smooth look. 2 of the stone textures are very rough, whilst the original (1st attempt) one is rather unfitting for the rest of the pack.
And for that last image, are you sure you used the patcher? Things like that happen when the game is unpatched.
P.S. thanks for looking at the texture!

Great pack. In my opinion, I just think that the cactus is a bit too prickly.
I'm surprised no one brought that up before. I can't make the cactus if my life depended on it. It will definitely be changed in the future, you can be sure of that.
It's nice, but two things:
1. Is the glowstone updated after the screenshots or does it tile bad?
2. Um, can you fix the extreme noise of the leaves? There are a bunch of black spots and stuff...

Every time that someone on the support forums doesn't say anything after I tell them a possible solution, I assume that they are having too much fun enjoying their fixed Minecraft to reply.
I can fix the leaves, definitely. But the glowstone may be harder. Is it because the glow of the amber chunks just cuts off near the corners? I could try to fix that.
I love the texture pack bro :smile.gif: Be really cool if you worked on the Aether mod textures once you finsed doing every think :biggrin.gif: Ill download once everythink is finshed
Everyone, I sincerely apologise for the delay of an update. I will try to get around to it this weekend. Thanks for your patience and support, everyone.
You should take a picture of a rain forest with your texturepack on so we can see how good it REALLY is.
That is actually a fantastic idea, do you know where I could find a rainforest map? Preferably one with giant trees. (Obviously this would have to be player-made.)

Canopy carnage is a good forest map for some screen shots. Google minecraft super hostile and click the first one. its #6 of the maps :tongue.gif:
So far I love this pack, however my fireplace is all kinds of messed up. My fireplace Also, I would love for moving water to be animated.
Edit: turns out gold blocks also do the same thing as the bricks and my tools have random missing spots.
Glad you love the pack. It seems that you haven't used the HD patcher, it's necessary for every texture pack above 16x. The link to it is in the main post. I'll make the font bigger, a few people have had this problem.
Also, I will be sure to do custom water soon, you can count on that.
I want your world more then the texture sorry to say but ITS AMAZING!!! can you please please please post a download link for this world its just what I've been looking for! :biggrin.gif:

You'll notice at the bottom of the post in the "Additional Information" section, there is credit to a map "Canopy Carnage". That's the sexy map you are talking about... I think. Unless you meant the first screenshots, in which case I'm not releasing my personal map.

Ooops, you're right. I haven't seen the line where you said the patcher was necessary. I'll do it again with the patcher. :biggrin.gif:

I don't see why upsizing this would be necessary. If I do, it will probably be after everything else is completed.
