It still has some buggy stuff. For me atleast. The gravel is ****ed. Also some tools and some boots. Like iron. But I still like it. It's ****ing awesome!!!
I'm not sure what you mean by the gravel: I'm having mixed opinions about it. Is it good, or bad? I like it, so if you don't then an alternate texture can be added.
love this texture pack BUT i would like to see the chest with one of your textures also when you collect suger cane i would like it to match the texture of when its placed other than that ]EPIC

I haven't updated the chests for 1.8, or items. I'll be sure to do it tomorrow, thanks for commenting :smile.gif:
Now then, I only got 6 downloads last night, which is most dissapointing. Will I start getting more when I update it? :tongue.gif:

Thanks very much, I'll be sure to check out the Union!
the inventory gui looks cool but you cant see cobblestone it would be great if you added textures for chest, furnace and crafting table also rotten flesh is invisible and raw chicken also door should match how it looks when placed as in your inventory also some paintings are too dark pumpkins are really weird with lava and water

I will be sure to do the GUI for everything else, it's on my to-do list :smile.gif: And I cleared up the inventory slightly, so hopefully you can see cobble a little better. The items for doors and sugarcane have been fixed, and I have no idea why the paintings are dark, there doesn't appear to be a problem with the art file.
-Updated inventory GUI! [WIP]
-More items! [Matching doors, cake, sugar cane, etc. (also includes 1.8 items)]
-More 1.8 terrain! [Cobwebs, giant mushrooms, etc.] [WIP]
-Updated wooden door texture! [Will be able to be customised soon, a customiser is being worked on]
-Updated screenshots!
And...
The pack is now completely 1.8 compatible! Not all of the 1.8 textures are completed, but now you can use my pack without your game having invisible textures :wink.gif:
Unfortunately I can only check everything out tomorrow since I'm already on my way to bed.
But I saw the giant mushroom in your screenshots and I'm afraid it looks too artificial.
Try to make the spots a bit more irregular. On a real mushroom they are not exactly circular either. And they are shaded whithin with a slight structure. (Sorry if I express myself in a funny way.)
Maybe it looks a bit more natural then.
The iron bars look perfect and so do the smooth stone bricks and mossy stone bricks.
Appleslinky I think you're bumping your topic a bit too often, I just think in my opinion it makes the thread look rather desperate.
But anyway, here's my feedback on the 1.8 update:
The water looks good! the flowing animation is quite easy to do and looks great. The still animation could use some work, but heck it looks better than mine currently. In my opinion on what could be improved could be that it should be a little slower and more subtle. You don't want the water to be too noticeable but not just solid. I just felt I noticed the water more than I should of, a bit distracting. The animation was quite good, so perhaps you should extend your frames so make it longer - I say double it. From what I've observed from what I think are 'good' still water textures they usually are 1000 pixels in height. It's a nice steady slow speed for subtle animation.
Can't wait for the magma and the rest of the 1.8 blocks, good work so far.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll update it for the next... update. Yeah. I'll give it a more bumpy look for sure, I was a bit sceptical of it. Do you have any complaints about the brown one?

I've generally been bumping it once before I go to bed, but if it looks bad then it shall be stopped. I didn't really think of it much; but now I scrolled up and it does look odd.
Anyhoo, thanks for the water feedback, I'll definitely work on it. I'm rather worried about magma haha, I'm hoping it will turn out well.
There's a new .png file for the chest and double chest located 'item' folder in the jar. Since with their new chest animation, it no longer uses the terrain.png anymore. I'm figuring it out myself atm too.
For the items, I have done about another 5 or so, I'm going to add 1.8 items soon. Coal turned out fantastic, by the way.
Be sure to leave feedback if you download!
This updates new features include:
-New 1.8 terrain! [WIP]
-New items! [1.8 Coming Soon!]
-Some tweaked blocks!
-New inventory GUI and hotbar GUI!
-Tweaked plantation colour [Tall grass & ferns]
-Other minor updates which I can't remember for now!
And...
CUSTOM FREAKIN' WATER! [Updated screenshots coming soon!]
Stay tuned for more 1.8 updates everyone, and thanks for the continued support!
Tell me what you think about the new blocks and GUI, especially the inventory and water!
