Well I thought that Amy was released in 1993 with Sonic CD? Shadow is all the way up to 2001 with Sonic Adventure 2. Thats not really too vintage... I'm not sure... Maybe I'll replace him with the original vintage "Evil Sonic" [not Scourge] which would have to be Mecha-Sonic.
I have to say that even with me knowing that I'd have to kick Shadow out, it still wouldn't be too much of a letdown. And if its still a big shame, then I'll just put in an altTEXTURES.png and put a LOAD of alternative wool with every face possible [besides each and every badnik, that would be a little too much] and just different kinds of everything. And whether or not you want it TRUE vintage, it would be entirely up to the user.

Nah I think this is not a big speedbump at all. I've decided that since the wool is only optional. I'll add away. But I like your idea of cutting off at 2001. Because your logic makes perfect sense. haha!
And yea truth to that Ironwaffle, this is FAR from being backed into a corner. But to see who I chose and for which color, you'll just have to wait and see! :biggrin.gif:

We got 1,000 downloads already? Wow. I'm kinda busy today, but I'll update my in-game-terrain, and send it to you once I get a chance. It'll be either tonight, or sometime tomorrow, since I have to make some changes to it as well, to make some of the textures more visible, and since I forgot to include 3 textures in it.
I personally didn't like the characters that appeared in Sonic the Fighters, so I excluded them from my wool suggestions. I'll support the alt text files in .zip though, so I'll include as many as I can recall in my next message.
Also, I can't recall where, but I seem to remember hearing that there would be spikes in the adventure update. You should create a placeholder texture for iron ore, so you can move the current one (spikes) over, once the update happens.
Having screenshots for recent updates is fine, but you should keep that "Natural look and feel" screenshot you took, as well as an updated in-game-terrain screenshot, in the OP at all times.

Well that would definately fit perfectly but now I'm out of an iron ore texture. Hmm... I'll think hard about this, but I think that I'll probably end up using a texture from Chem. Plant zone, Wing Fortress zone, Flying Battery zone, just one of Robotniks stupid technologically advanced zones that ends up getting destroyed in the end anyways.
As for the Natural look and feel, I'll upload an image soon.
On flying batter zone there's an enemy with ball and chain arms, the ball could maybe be used as the ore. Or even a real capsule trapped in stone.
*edit* Or possibly a derelict EggRobo trapped in the stone

Sooo my little sister wanted a sonic game. I asked if she wanted sonic colors or if she wanted sonic classic, which had the first 4 sonic games. Here eyes immediately lit up and she screamed yes. I was like "sister, I am proud"

Sorry, I assumed your sig was part of a different sonic text. pack, so I thought you'd been a member longer than me.
I DID think of the fang as purple idea, but since I don't really like the characters that don't appear in the main games, I didn't mention him until my most recent message to Affinite. There's just something about those characters that says they won't get much attention in my eyes; which would result in slightly less positive opinions about the wool. But that's just my opinion.
